Range immediately not functional; one month later, Frigidaire has not fixed

My range has never worked correctly. Half of the range top does not work. The half that does is great, and the oven functionality is good. But my unit was not fully functional immediately after receiving it. I called Frigidaire the following day, 7/26, to begin repair/replacement services. It's now been over a month. It's taken 5 service calls (two no-shows, 3 with a tech actually arriving), and multiple hours on the phone with customer support. As things stand now, I'm told that the next necessary part (the 3rd one they've ordered) *may* arrive in the next 5-7 business days. They are refusing replacement because there hasn't been enough time elapsed? And when asked to expedite delivery of the new part (ordered 8/7, still not even in process on 8/28), they couldn't agree to do so. At this point, a 1k range has never functioned, I've stayed home waiting on service calls for about 16 hours total, and spent around 6 hours with support in one form or another.Induction is great, I hope to always use induction from now on. But I strongly recommend that other customers buy an induction range from a different company.

This is the best way to cook electrically! I love the instant temperature response on the cook top. It cooks anything at the temperature you want it to be--eggs, simmer sauces, boil water. You don't have to wait for what seems like forever for the top to cool down enough to wipe it clean--when the dishes are done, so is cleaning the cook top. I absolutely love it!

Induction is fast for sure. The cooktop doesn™€™t get as hot as the radiant glass top stoves. The reason I™€™m giving this stove 1 star is that the burner we use the most, the right front, does not heat evenly. The back 1/3 of the burner gets most of the power, so food is always burning in that area, while the rest of the pan is cooler. It does this will all our pans, both new stainless steel, carbon steel, and the cast iron so we know it™€™s the stove. We have had two service calls, but all they did was adjust the position of the coils under the glass top. We would have returned this stove to Lowe™€™s, but we bought it on a Visa card and that gave us only 48 hours to return it. We missed that window. The front right burner is also small to begin with, at just over 8™€ diameter. My wife is so frustrated that I™€™m going to buy her a new range and kick this one to the curb. I would feel guilty selling it to anyone. It seems like good inductions stoves cost multiple thousands of dollar, so I guess you get what you pay for.

This is our first induction range, and we are very impressed! There™€™s a learning curve involved, but the adjustment is for good things, not bad. We bought new cookware, so that helps in the adjustment. I had known about induction ranges for years, but they were always out of our price range, but my son found this, and THD was running a great price, under a grand, so we decided it was time to take the leap. Besides the induction cooktop, the oven preheats rather quickly and seems to do a great job as well. The control panel is vertically oriented, not good for me, I™€™m 6™€™3™€, but my wife is 5™€™4™€ so it™€™s fine for her, and it™€™s very intuitive, it took no time to learn it. The built in safety features are nice as well. This Frigidaire range is sitting in a kitchen that™€™s had only Whirlpool appliances for forty years, I™€™m hoping it proves we made a good decision!

I am very happy I made this purchase. It is such a pleasure to cook on the range and bake in my new oven. The speed of the change in temps on the range is so fast. I love it. My only issues are with the operational interface. Timer should auto start once the amount of time has been set. Also, when the range is turned on and a pan detected, I should only need to hit the plus sign to start cooking on the chosen element. Too many extra steps

After surviving an explosion with a gas range two decades ago, we have lived quite happily with an amazingly reliable ceramic-top electric range, but this is a real step up in convenience and responsiveness. The only thing we have had to learn is to not lean against the front control panel in order to avoid changing the heat settings.

Sensitive Buttons But Love Induction!

Really wanted induction and finally found this model with a small scratch on the front and a dent underneath in the drawer ™€“ perfect for me! My only issue thus far is the buttons are a bit sensitive, but hopefully I'll learn to stop leaning against it, and it does emit a faint high pitched noise when using the stove that is often covered by the sound of cooking once it warms up enough. Haven't used the oven yet but overall great range and big update for me.

This is a great induction range. Easy to use - user friendly, smooth looking, and very safe. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it makes clicking sounds while cooking. Almost like the magnet or whatever is under the glass top vibrates or something. Other than that, it heats quick and seems to cook evenly. We use the Hexclad pans and they work great with this range. The other thing is the stainless steel seems to be a different color stainless steel. So, you will need to get a Frigidaire hood vent to match it. The other stainless steel hood vents, like Broan or Whirlpool didn™€™t match it.

Broke after two weeks

The stove failed after 2 weeks of use with an E022 error. Initially we could clear it with power cycle, but it progressively got worse and now doesn™€™t work at all. Frigidaire™€™s contracted repair service ordered a bunch of parts, then claimed they were on backorder and could not be ordered. Meanwhile we haven™€™t been able to use it for a month. Avoid this stove.

This induction range is so easy to clean, both inside and out. It has a glass flat top, which can easily be wiped down. But better yet the oven is fully enclosed so you don't have the vent that lead into the bottom tray like on gas ovens. So the bottom tray items stay clean as well!

Got this paired with the over the range microwave on a good deal together, which was perfect timing because our 20+ year old oven had just stopped functioning. Love the design. I was looking for induction, and I'll never go back to anything else, but Frigidaire had more of the features I cared about without doubling the price. The bridge burner is awesome for my family, Sunday morning pancakes have never been easier. Used to use one of those plug in electric griddles but being able to just cook on a flat griddle directly on my stovetop frees up much needed counter space. My wife loves the oven, says she feels spoiled. Convective bake just does such a good job. The controls are easy to understand, and with a young one running around the house I love the safety features like being able to lock the door. I feel more peace of mind that my daughter (or dog, if you've seen that video!) won't accidentally turn a burner on, and even if they somehow did without an induction ready pan on the burner it literally wouldn't do anything anyway. Amazing! Cooking with induction is just such a pleasurable experience. Boils water way faster than a gas stove. Science! The precision of control is great too for things like cooking omelettes the way I do, once again something gas just cannot do. And it doesn't have that smell! The only thing I can't speak on is reliability or durability, as we've installed it less than a month ago. But so far we couldn't be happier with it.

Absolutely Beautiful

I never thought I would want an induction stove, but this stove is absolutely beautiful. I'm a cook and having this stove in my home, I'm cooking move and look forward to it everyday. The sleek design is awesome. It heats quickly and food is cooked more evenly.I dont know why I waited so long, but I'm glad I have this stove. Frigidaire product is great now I need to see if I can finance a Frigidaire fridge.I'm just loving this stove, it's like a beautiful piece of furniture and has change the look of my kitchen.

I love my new stove. The cooktop is awesome. Boils water so fast. You do not need to turn the heat up very high at all when cooking. I love that the cooktop does not get hot.
