Cracks on front and now handle broken off

So this worked well - but small cracks started from the lower and upper edge of where the door handle attaches to front plastic trim. Really cheap and now with less than 2 years being installed it broke off complete and cracks all over the front. I have 10 year old microwaves in some of my homes that work and look great to this date. At over $300 this is not good quality.

After approximately one year unit started popping the breaker, then it started blowing the 20 amp internal fuse. Put new switches in door, still blew fuse. Circuit that shuts down microwave when door is opened was poorly designed and door itself is VERY hard to open. Looking for another

We bought this microwave in Aug 2018, it has tripped my breaker several times when using so we even updated our breakers. We don™™t use the microwave a lot so I would say 1 out of 20 uses would trip our breaker. Finally on a Monday it sounded like broken glass when I turn it on and I tripped the breaker. I turned breaker on and nothing. Microwave would not work. I started reading about the fuse blowing and sure enough that™™s what had happened. So order a new fuse, $20, and couldn™™t wait to put it in, well that didn™™t work! Fuse blew, now I™™m out $20 more dollars. My fault! After reading the reviews I realize I™™m not the only one with this problem. I™™m going to buy a new microwave today but so glad I decided to read these. I thought I might have just gotten a bad one. Now I know to research before I buy one.

We bought this when our G.E. microwave died about 6 weeks ago. A key thing for us was the "zero-space" door opening which we found was not easy to locate during our microwave search. The Frigidaire microwave was a perfect fit and we've found it to be extremely user-friendly even with all the great options it offers. Very satisfied with this microwave. Control surfaces are well built and should stand up to heavy use easily. Cycle ending tone is loud and persistent enough to keep user from forgetting they left food in the unit.

I bought this microwave about 2 years ago and 2 days before the manufactures warranty expired the handle broke at the bottom. It took about 2 months to get it replaced. I decided to buy a 1 year extended warranty because other than the handle breaking it's a good microwave.After the first handle broke I told the family to be careful closing the door. Within 6 months the replacement handle broke.I'm trying to call Frigidaire but their phones are too busy and I keep getting a recorded message to try later.

We bought this microwave to replace another that died. We're happy with the performance, but there are a few features that could be a little better:The LED light inside is bright, nice to see condition of the food.The clock is really easy to set.Adding 30 seconds to the cook time is to simply push the start button again.The LED light under the M/W is too far to the rear to light the rangetop well, and is only on or off, would be nice to have two levels of lighting.The 'beeper' could be louder.

We bought this microwave about 18 months ago for our cabin. It got very minimal use because we primarily lived in our other home and just used it on weekends. The beeping sound was very annoying and the way they have it set up is very frustrating. If you have the sound turned on, it continues to beep every few seconds until you open the door. The only other option is to turn the sound off completely. Why don't they have the option of it beeping once when the food is done like every other microwave I have ever owned? Then last week, the whole thing went dead. I contacted the service dept for some info on how to replace the fuse, they said it needed to be done by a service tech. I had a guy come out & it was the fuse, he replaced it and charged me $100 for the service call. Its started working again but 12 hours later, it was broken again. In searching the internet, I think the problem is the 2 prongs that go into the side when you close it aren't working. The service tech told me this is a known issue with these microwaves so he was going to order a replacement kit for me. Then he got back to me & said they are out of stock with no ETA. So tomorrow I am getting my almost brand new Frigidaire replaced by another one that will hopefully have a bit of reliability. This is ridiculous!!

We were remodelling a very small kitchen and needed an over-the-range micowave that would fit between a wall and cabinet. Most microwaves require extra room on the side to allow the door to open. Fridgidaire was the only manufacturer that offered a microwave with a zero clearance door at a reasonable cost. It installed beautifully, has all the usual features, and looks great in the space. We are very happy with our purchase!

Buying a Frigidaire microwave has been a horrible experience. The microwave is fine but the constant bombardment of emails have soured this purchase completely. I've unsubscribed 4 times but yet still get emails from, conveniently, noreply@. Will not be considering purchase of another Frigidaire appliance in the future.

Bought this to replace a GE model that had lasted almost 15 years. Hoping to get equally long-term performance from this product. Heats quickly and evenly and feels solidly built. Lighting for stove is bright and exhaust fan is quiet and effective.You can turn down the volume of the potentially annoying 3-tone reminder, and I just came to notice that there is no way to temporarily turn off the turntable (if that really matters to you).

I bought this microwave a couple years ago. The top part of the handle broke off and may cost $100 to replace ugh. The noise that the microwave sounds when something is done or the timer has gone off is loud, and there's no way to adjust the volume or turn it off. It is good as far as cooking, however.

This microwave has great features! I especially love the quick buttons; press the numbers 1, 2, or 3 and walk away for the microwave to start cooking for that amount of time. You can also press Start to to begin cooking for 30 seconds! How about a microwave that stops beeping when you open the door? It was a pet peeve of mine, seriously why keep beeping if I™™m attending to it? This one stops. Loving it.

This came in a house we bought. I love that you can use the timer and still microwave at the same time. The quick start buttons are also helpful. The beep when your food is done is a little obnoxious but at least you know it™™s done!

We are very happy with this microwave. It has a nice clean look to it and does the job fast and heats extremely well. The light underneath is very bright which is great. I do wish the fan had more than 2 speeds but it™™s not a major problem. The beeping can get annoying if you don™™t get your stuff out right away but definitely not a reason not to buy this great product. And it does come with a manual so you don™™t have to go online to work it.

We bought this product in December 2019, installed in January 2020. It's a great microwave - doesn't have too many bells and whistles - just the ones you actually need. The only negative is the persistent 3-beep tone after your food is ready. One cycle of 3-beeps would have been enough but there are at least 2 more 3-beep cycles. Too many.

I like the microwave except for the extremely irritating beep when the timer is done. It's not a normal beep, beep, beep, but an ungodly long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, followed by another one, and then even a third! So that's beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep,beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep - it's like being screamed at by an obnoxious child. I find myself racing to it to shut the thing up. I even yell back at it, "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" And God forbid you shouldn't be able to get to it right away - it does the entire sequence every 20 seconds! According to what's on the inside panel, there should be a way to change it, but according to a support person at Frigidaire, there isn't. I tried following what's written on the inside panel, but it didn't work. If I had chosen it myself, I would have looked into what the beep is like before buying, but all the appliances were chosen by the home builder, so unless I want to lay out money to have it uninstalled, purchase a new one, and have that installed, I'm stuck with it.
