Good range / oven, but two repairs in 13 months

We really like this range and oven, but had two repairs in the first 13 months of owning this product. The first repair was a control board, which was covered under warranty. The second issue was with the oven, it would not ignite or heat up. Warranty is only for 12 months, and of course this happened one month after the warranty expired. I had to pay $350 for non warranty repair to fix this issue. I am very concerned that we will continue to have more issues down the road. I wouldn't expect two major issues to occur this soon, especially for their higher end professional line.

Love this range! I had a Wolf range (also loved) then moved to a house with a GE (hated) and decided to replace the GE with something new. Coming from a Wolf, I had high expectations and really shopped around. So happy with my Frigidaire purchase! The 2 front burners are plenty powerful- boil water super fast. The oven heats up very fast and every cookie bakes perfectly! Even without the convection setting, the heat is very evenly distributed. The display panel looks sharp and with large, bright easy to read numbers. It even comes with an air fry pan which most brands make you purchase that separately. Great product!

I bought this range Dec 2020. Two weeks about (April 2023) my oven stopped working. Two repairmen I called would not work on it. The third agreed to work on it. he has now replaced nearly every part on it and it still will not work! This has really soured me on Frigidaire appliances. It's a beautiful range but 2 years is not long enough for the price I paid for it. I will not buy Frigidaire appliances again. Warning for you - if you do decide to get this range, buy the extended warranty!

To date this has been the best kitchen update I have installed. I wasn™™t quite sure if I would use the Air fryer feature that came in this unit, but I was wrong. I have a small counter top air fryer but it is too small to cook for our family of four. This one I can cook enough plus leftovers. The only con that I have is the rear legs. My opinion is that a roller would be better since you have to push it in and out. Either that or beef that area up. Even though I tried to keep as much weight off of the back while installing it. It still bent the leg supports in the rear.

Haven™™t cooked on it yet BUT Depth of appliance is fine but design flaw doesn™™t allow it to go back against the wall because there is no ™cut out™ for gas line. Every oven I™™ve owned prior to this one has had this feature. This causes the handles to protrude way to much for my taste. Not happy. Another issue is the ™trim kit™ which is sold separately. Most slide in ranges sit on counter top so there™™s no need to spend another 130.00 for the trim kit. Retailer did not inform me of this. Poorly designed all in all. Not happy at all.

Beautiful appliance. We like the burner sizes and their hefty BTU's. Like the cast iron grates that are continuous that allow for sliding pans across without lifting. Have not used all the oven settings but the Bake setting works well. Would like to level the range, but instructions sounds impossible; "use the leveling leg on the anti-tip bracket," which was not utilized when installed, and even if it were, would be impossible to adjust without a great deal of rigamarole since it would be located on the back side. Disappointed with the dimensions of the cut-out on the backside, since it is not large enough to accommodate our gas hook-up. Our previous range fit. You would think this would be a universal dimension. We can not position the range all the way back into the slide-in location. Will need to get gas line repositioned in the future. Overall, a beautiful appliance with nice features. We bought from Steve's Appliance in Sidney Maine and received wonderful service and support. (I understand buying from big-box store might not be as pleasant of an experience)

I'd rather do all the cooking. It's been almost 10 years and we just got our new 30" Frigidaire. It is so fantastic and easy to use. It's just okay. I have the previous model in our second home and I like it 5 Stars worth. I don't like the oven controls being on the front of this new version because it runs a noisy fan for too long to cool it down after the oven is shut off. I also don't care for the shelves in this new version. Had I realized it was going to be so much different from the previous version, I would have chosen a different range.
