I HAVE HAD THIS UNIT FOR A FEW YEARS. HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THE ELECTRONIC DOOR SENSOR THAT TURNS ON LIGHT (AND CONTROLS FAN). NOT ENGINEERED VERY WELL AND IT'S LOCATION MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO REPLACE WITH ANOTHER TYPE OF MAGNETIC SENSOR OF HIGHER QUALITY.

We've owned this unit for 3 years and have regretted the purchase ever since. We've been dealing with the constant "open door" alarm and light that comes on even after using much force (arm on top and foot on bottom) to close the door...Imagine how embarrassing it is as we struggle to close the door so the light won't stay on and the alarm sound with a house full of guests. It's to the point that we try to avoid drinking anything in the beverage center. We've done everything the customer service reps instructed us to do...clean the surface where the door gasket rests and replace the $150 gasket. Still the alarm sounds!

I brought this about a month ago and so far so good. It™™s a hard adjustment getting used to the door opening from left to right. Additionally, since I had a Uline our refrigerator previously, it is an adjustment to make with the shelves.

We looked at many other under counter fridge models and every other one seemed to have a glaring issue or two. All wine storage, no beer bottle storage, compressor failures, etc. etc. We took a leap knowing that Electrolux is considered a high-end brand and spent more than what we had originally planned to, but we couldn't be happier with our decision. And a side bonus, our 2-year old can now get his own milk, water or juice from the fridge without asking for help to get it from our full-size fridge. That alone made it worth the investment!

Defective door sensor never stops beeping

Had this for three years, now it constantly beeps every five minutes thinking that the door is ajar when it is fully closed. Resetting the alarm does nothing. I replaced the door sensor ($100) and it still isn't fixed. I could try replacing the door gasket, but that's another $100!

I bought this unit to replace another brand's beverage refrigerator that was constantly running. I liked the fact that the Electrolux is Energy Star rated. The temperature has been consistent since I installed it, and when it does run, it is incredibly quiet.. I can't comment yet on it's long-term efficiency, but if it continues to operate as it currently does, it's a winner. Based on my experience thus far, I would highly recommend this this beverage fridge.

Only had it for a few days. Seems nice and quiet, I like the split shelf. Probably overpriced for what it is, but they're all like that. After all it is a luxury item. Please be aware that there is some misinformation on the product page: specifications section states that temperature range is adjustable 34-45F. This section gets carrie dover to reseller pages as well, so for ex. BestBuy states same. In fact is only goes to 42F. Too bad, that's a bit low for beer and wine, 45F would be much better. Manual is correct, but I didn't check that before purchasing. Kinda disappointing to spend this much money and have something like that come as a surprise. Their wine coolers can go much higher.Mine also came with a broken screw and misaligned bottom shelf. I'm sure that will be fixed, but again expect a bit better quality control from a premium product.

We have an older model of this beverage center. We like the extra half shelf. The redesigned lower shelf is more horizontal resulting in additional storage space for the unit. Our only disappointment is the replacement of an accuride type runners on the luxury guide shelves with a runner design that is usually found in lower grade runners.
