Not happy with lg at all spend this much money for a refrigerator and with in a year have to replace the bottom ice maker then a year later both ice makers dont work and because I live in a rural area nobody wants to come out and work on and when someone does come out the ice maker is so overpriced for what you spend on the refrigerator aint worth fixing cause its go into break down again the the tech says theres recalls and nobody tells you lg for sure aint going to tell you

Purchased new in 2018 compressor went out. Called LG it took about 12 days to get fixed. Was covered by warranty so happy for that. Dealing with the LG call center people is not very easy.

Worst Refrigerator the shelves broke less than a year the black stainless started peeling ice maker did not work after 2 years. Now years later linear compressor broke it actually was in a class action lawsuit but we missed it because no notice was sent to us.

Nothing But Trouble

This refrigerator has been nothing but trouble. Ive had it repaired multiple times. Was able to get some of my money back in the class action lawsuit. Since having the compressor replaced Ive had one repair then it failed completely yet again. The technician said the issues are too costly to fix and not worth it. I just ordered a new refrigerator to replace this piece of junk. On a positive note the drawer was a nice feature to keep drinks cold.

Couldnt ask fpr a better laid-out refrigerator. It is noisy at times but thats okay We remodeled the entire kitchen 5 years ago and replaced an aging fridge. For two people it is perfect for us. The door storage is more than adequate and large items like hams or turkeys can be easily stored. Glass shelves are difficult to re-install after cleaning.

My LG counter depth refrigerator

Over 7 years of owning this refrigerator it has broke down 9 times. A lot of frustration and lost food. The refrigerator has had 4 compressors Mother board Heated panel in freezer sensors ice maker facing of refrigerator doors all replaced due to poor manufacturing. This last time 4 major components had to be replaced which LG did pay for all parts and labor. Ive never had such so many problems with an appliance. Also noone in our area will work on LG refrigerators because of all the problems so we have to wait forever to get an appt with Sears which has been over a month wait just to get diagnosed then wait weeks for the parts to come in then ger back on their schedule to get them installed. Very frustrating.

Everything fits nicely good layout especially the middle drawer and the little glass covered compartments on the shelf beneath the main doors. Compressor had a problem after a couple of years hence 4 stars instead of 5 for Quality but LG service sent a tech to replace it one business day after filing a warranty service request. I was amazed at the speed of that service.

3 compressors later and still fixing it LG CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIFIC AND ALL OUTSOURCED . The fridge is 4 yes old and has had a compressor replacement every year . After hours on the phone and No offer to replace it - you get really poor service on a scripted and contrived conversation. First off this is the best refrigerator we have ever owned. Would for sure by it again. But after having it for 4 years the compressor went out and we lost everything in the fridge. LG was very helpful and sent a technician out in 3 days and replaced the compressor at no charge to me. The new compressor is supposed to last longer. But it is a lot noisier than the original. Like I said we would buy again.

I own all LG appliances but have had so many problems with the refrigerator. It is 7 years young and have have numerous issues that include: doors needing to be replaced ice component stopped working new compressor replaced and recently ice build up needing to be defrosted by technician. Dissatisfied because I bought the appliances keeping in mind the good reputation LG had. Too many issues in such a short period of time.

Good Refrigerator but has problems

Ive had this for a couple of weeks. Didnt necessarily want a new fridge but our 3 1/2 yr old LGs compressor died. To LGs credit they refunded me for that one. Really liking this new one. The craft ice is a nice option. Also like the double door. I just hope this one lasts and the engineers fixed their well known compressor issues

We moved into this condo and completely renovated it. the only thing we kept are the appliances. we have had nothing but trouble with the refrigerator. Compressor went out and now it makes a constant buzzing noise. An LG technician is scheduled to come out tomorrow. This is the second technician that has had to come out.

Great replacement and upgrade

Not worth the money

I have nothing but issues with this fridge since I purchased it brand new. It constantly has issues with the fridge part cooling. The ice often melts because the inside gets to warm and does not cool properly. Ive had techs out multiple times and still the same crap.

Nice features but finish lacking quality

The refrigerator worked well for the first 5 years even though the laminate covering the control on the door loosened at the bottom. The black stainless is also a disappointment due to it wearing off on the edges. Then last week it quit working and the repair man said it needed a new compressor. It should be covered under the warranty but I am not sure yet. I am a little disappointed in the quality of this refrigerator but I also like the features with it.

This fridge has been great until the compressor went out about 2 weeks ago. Its only 4 years old. Thankful for the extended warranty. They came out to fix it no problem I dont like the fact that I have to have the counter depth lack of space but not the fault of appliance.

Too many replacements on the compressor

Lasted just over the warranty ending...

I bought this thinking it would last but they do offer a 10 year warranty on the compressor. Only I was not successful with LG in getting the money to fix the compressor so I have a huge fridge just sitting in my garage right now. No check to fix it and very challenging to deal with them.

I have had this refrigerator for 3 years and I really like the majority of the features. It is smaller than I would like but I have adjusted and then I clean my refrigerator more so that is a plus. My only complaint is the water dispenser. When there is ice in the glass the water often sprays all over. I have tried several different methods for dispensing the water but havent found a method that doesnt spray.

Terrible fridge

We bought 6 years ago and have had 3 compressors replaced sensors and a door replaced. Possibly we got a lemon of a fridge or more likely this whole line of fridges is terrible . We really regret getting rid of our old fridge because it worked fine and thought we would treat ourselves to something nice by buying this and it ended up costing us hundreds of dollars in spoiled groceries and a freezer full of ruined breast milk for my child. On a plus side LG has been responsive in repairing it when its needed but repairs will only last a year or two before the compressor goes again. Stay away
