Most Incredible Refrigerator - EVER

This refrigerator is the best most well thought out beautiful incredible refrigerator anyone can own. Its 30 cubic feet the black SS finish doesnt leave prints French doors on the top and 2 freezer compartments with 3 pull out drawers in each not to mention additional space on the doors. The ice maker is located in the left door of the refrigerator saving valuable freezer space. The door-in-door allows easy access to frequently used items like milk juice condiments. The Easy Reach compartments in front of the two large storage drawers are great for cheese and lunch meats. The variable shelving features will accommodate just about anything you want to put in a refrigerator. If you have the space its the only refrigerator to own. The only negative is the linear compressor went out and had to be replaced. However it was under warranty and was replaced at no cost.

We bought this fridge almost six years ago and have been extremely happy with it for many reasons BUT it recently required the compressor to be replaced which was covered by the 10 year warranty on the part. We used the LG repair technician which we would recommend rather than a local appliance repair.

I had this refrigerator for 3 years. The compressor was replaced once Freon was added twice then once the extended warranty was expired the coils inside leaked The refrigerator is now in the trash

Just retired mine as this piece of junk broke down for the 4th time in 5 years. Bad compressors bad ice maker bad fans bad boards no parts available....... Never again will I purchase any LG product. Check online as there was a class action lawsuit against this company for this garbage. Probably lost 1000 in groceries from these failures. You have been warned.

I got my LG fridge in a suite from Costco in 2016. It has broken down now for the fourth time and ruined hundreds of dollars of food. At one point trying to deal with the warranty people square tradethat whole ordeal took WEEKS. My husband got an old free fridge to put in our laundry room for the NEXT TIME this happened You read that righthe got me an ancient freebie well over 20 years old that works pretty flawlessly to handle the next time my fancy fridge dies I hate it. I have never hated an appliance more. It has cost me so much money and hassle. The dishwasher we got at the same time is rusting in a few places but it still worksbut the fridgeits horrid. At one point one of the people who came out to service it said he was pretty sure that they would just send a new fridge instead of yet another repair..but nope.

Second compressor failed

I bought it in December 2016. Installed in 2017. 2018 ice maker stopped working. September 2019 the linear compressor failed. LG replaced it. May 2022 the new linear compressor failed again. LG did not have any technicians until I wrote the LG President. I paid for not only the labor to replace it again but I bought a new fridge to replace this unreliable monstrosity. LG linear compressors will fail because of the rubber seal or aluminum piston. I cant suggest LG fridges. I have had LG phones TVs washers dryers computers and other small gadgets but this was the turning point for my love of LG. The reviews about the compressors are real. The money and time you spend is also real. Buy these as your second fridge. Their other appliances should still be fine to buy. Do your research

I had added 10 year warranty to my fridge at the time of purchase. I was accepting to make 1 phone to get the repair done it turned out be 20 phone calls and hours spent on the phone back and fourth. Finally got the repair done and the fridge is working okay however I have to max the frozen stetting to -04 setting to get the freezer to maintain 32 temp. I dont think the freezer is same as before.

It replaced the compressor twice and other main parts as well but a couple of technicians even LG CS didnt know what was the problem was. So I need to trash this and it is an extra cost. I would never buy another LG appliance in my life. The compressor has failed 3 times now in 6 years. My mom dishwasher from LG and dryer all went out too. Absolutely junk avoid at all costs.
