Just 4 months and the unit is not powering up

Just 4 months and the unit is not powering up. this is the worst product i got from samsung, the quality looks very cheap. They said it has WIFI connectivity, i was unable to connect the dryer to smartthings. I have Dishwasher, TV, refrigerator lot many samsung appliances but this is not their make definitely.

Dryness sensor(s) are basically useless

i'd love this dryer if it were 20 years old or if it cost half as much. as it is, i merely "am fine" with it. it's a box with a spinny thing that gets my laundry hot to dry them. but! -dryness sensor is basically a non-starter. i can set it to "very dry" and any type of load i put in will still be damp when it reports "finished" -can't turn on the interior light without multiple button presses.

Couldn't Even Make It to 2nd Anniversary

After 12 years of dutiful service, our Kenmore washer and dryer needed to be replaced. Based on reviews, pricing and features, we replaced it with this dryer and its matching washing machine. Now we're not even to the second anniversary of our purchase and the dryer drum appears to be going out on us-making the sound the dryer would if we were drying shoes. No wonder they only offer a year warranty-they know their product can't last much longer. Never Samsung again!

Ruined my clothes

i purchased this dryer last November at Home Depot. I love the design but for some reason, it snags all of my clothes. all of by bed linens and clothes thats made out of polyester come out all snagged. its so frustrating because i paid so much for these machines and now im throwing money away with all the items that are being ruined. i tried the low settings and turning items inside out to to minimize the effects of the damage, it helps but takes longer to dry. it a nightmare doing laundry. i put a service call into samsung and i hope they can resolve this issue or replace the machine. im very disappointed in my purchase. maybe i just received a defective dryer.

Love this dryer. Have always been a Samsung brand fan and I love the innovations they add to their products specially this dryer. I have the gas version that is $100 more. Steam has it's own hookup to your water outlet unlike other brands that has a reservoir that you have to check everytime. Awesome appliace combined with the Samsung washer another awesome unit.
