my 2year old samsung dryer drum is cracked already. repair cost will exceed $400 and samsung was gracious enough to tell me there is nothing they can do. completely lost faith in the samsung brand!

after only 14 months, it failed. it doesn't stop! i have to leave the door open or disconnect the dryer. is this the quality i should be expecting from samsung?

2 major repairs needed in 2 years. the first was a new belt in april 2019 and now the drum needs to be replaced because it has cracked.

RECOMMENDATION ... do not install it yourself.....we installed it following exactly what the manual said and we did not have good results when turning on it makes too much noise and with the washing machine the problem is worse.....
I RECOMMEND IT BUT WITH A PROFESSIONAL!!!!
I called samsung and in a few words they told me that they can not do anything anymore and they sent me with BEST BUY professionals :(

Terrible washer and dryer first of all the dryer doesn't dry the clothes. It also has the vent sensor on at all times even after the vent had been clean several times. tried calling Samsung and didn't do anything after several attempts they sent me a technician who was super unprofessional and with a really bad attitude, well that didn't resolve the issue until this day my dryer keeps giving problems and Samsung has done nothing to resolve it.. Now the washer has a really bad smell for some reason even after cleaning it and self cleaning it (4hr) and lots of hot water waisted the smell is still there it seems like there is mold in the outer part of the door I guess because of the water but still I tried cleaning it and nothing works. I just wished all the money I spent on this set I had used it for something better.

I have been a loyal Samsung customer for over 10+ years. We have everything from phones, TVs, soundbars, Blu-Ray, microwave, washer and dryer.
Our 6 y/o washer quit working (computer panel), so we decided to buy a new complete pair and chose this washer, with matching dryer, and two pedastals, making our purchase from Best Buy. They just arrived today, fresh out of the boxes, and installed them. Washer works fine, but the dryer was dead on arrival. Not a good way to keep a loyal customer. The code popped up TC, luckily the Geek Squad who installed it is also a contracted repairman. He knew the code was thermostat control. Sadly this brand new dryer needs repair and I haven't even used it yet. Today is Monday, June 26, 2017. It should be repaired by Wednesday, but being a brand new machine, it should work straight out of the box. Instead of putting more flashy buttons and a complex operation on a machine, perhaps invest more into your quality control and inspections. I will give credit that at least a light has been added to the interior which is a nice feature, and there are more useful options that could be utilized, but I won't know until my brand new dryer that I just purchased is repaired. You really let me down this time Samsung, I am very disappointed in your quality control and lack of durability.
