Sheets and blankets ball up constantly

i've owned and used a lot of dryers in my life, so believe me when i say this dryer balls up sheets and blankets badly. with previous dryers (including the 20+ year old low-end maytag this one replaced) i only had to check the load halfway through and detangle it, and everything was fine until the dryer finished. i have to rescue the load every 5 or 10 minutes when i hear the dryer thumping because the sheets or blankets have rolled into a ball (not tangled, rolled up like a burrito). it's wasting energy because it takes a lot longer to dry the load, causing additional wear-and-tear on machine, and driving me absolutely insane.

i purchased this dryer from lowes on 11/24/20 and it worked great for about 3 drys. i then noticed it would literally run for abiut 3-5 minutes and jump from full load time to 1 minute. i contacted lowes a and we both agreed that should not be an issue. about 5 week ago a technician came out and decided it needed replaced. my maintenace man also cleared oug the ducts and whatever else was recommended on teh housing end. my new dryer arrived and after about 3 loads the new dryer is doing the exact same thing running for a few minutes and jumping directly to 1 minute again. at this point i feel like this is a manufacturer problem 2 dryers in less than one month with the same issue. if you want a dryer that last for 3 loads with a hefty pricetag this is for you. returning both products!

Worst customer service in the whole world

my dryer was delivered damaged. i contacted samsung multiple times to arrange a return. the first time i called, they told me their system is down and that the supervisor will call me back in 24 -48 hrs. no one called me back. the second time i called, they said that it is now pass the 15days return period. they transferred me to the warranty dept who told me the dryer cannot be repaired as it is not installed. eventually, i managed to convince them to set up a repair date but it was later mysteriously cancelled with no explanation. i had to call the home appliances team yet again who told me that i have to pay for repairs myself as it is pass 14days. each time i called, they kept transferring me to other depts. once, they transferred me to the mobile team and later to a korean team.

This is basically the newer model of the 10 year old dryer we have. I love the steam refresh, making my wrinkly clothes smooth again. The wifi connect is great, getting notifications on tv to say the laundry is done!

I would 100% recommend this Dryer and by extension the Washer/Dryer set. This thing works great, it can detect when your clothes are fully dried and will stop at that point to save energy. Haven't had a chance to use the steam dryer or sanitize options yet so can't comment on that.

I have had the drier for about 6 months and I have had no serious issues. The only thing I noticed is that I was not able to connect the wifi. It is not something I use anyway so it does not bother me.

Our family of 5 has been using the dryer for 4 months now and it's been working well. Although it has many features, we mainly just use the Normal cycle. Tried the Steam Refresh cycle and it helps with the wrinkle shirts (still need to iron tho). Clothes don't get over dry so it's nice, but jeans might not get fully dried when mixed with other clothes - can understand coz everything else is dried. The SmartThings app was a bit confusing at first and won't connect with the dryer. It finally works after the app got updated but there's really not much point using the app with the dryer.

Excellent unit and inexpensive to run. I had a delivery problem when the unit was damaged in transit. The Samsung people were extremely professional and had someone out here the next day to fix it. I has worked like a champ for the last 6 months... Love your appliances.

I have had my dryer about 6 months. It is a great dryer in most aspects. The sensor dry does not always work with small loads. What really bugs me is the dryer is only "smart" during the cycle. If it shuts off, I cannot turn it back on with Alexa. I have yet to figure out what I am supposed to do with the smart part because it cannot do anything I would want it to do. Don't pay extra for the smart interface
