Motor pump assembly dead

we purchased this dishwasher 3 years ago. it has been okay, with a couple small issues, until now. the motor assembly is cooked. it will cost $345 to fix a 3 year old dishwasher. that is slightly less than what we paid.. samsung does not stand by their product. we use our dishwasher every other to third day, so it definitely hasn't been pushed to the limit. this is the third samsung product that has let us down. never again will i purchase samsung.

Complete Disappointment

This is by far the worst dishwasher we have ever owned. We have had nothing but performance issues on this and have had service out 3 times and also replaced it 3 times. The machine is simply a horrible unit with a bad design. The racks are clumsy and impossible to push in smoothly, the unit smells of motor grease (not food smells) from the time you open the box. The thing smells so bad you can't hardly run it while in the house. On top of that, the machine does a horrible job at cleaning. You cannot fill the whole unit as the sprayers do not reach the corners and edges. You can only strategically load the middle of the racks. If that isn't bad enough, it is so LOUD you cannot even talk over it in the same room. Requesting service is a pain and the technicians don't know anything about this unit so they can't fix it. They just replace it. My assumption is they will replace it until the warranty runs out and we are stuck with it as is forever or forced to buy a new one. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!

I used this dishwasher roughly 10 times since I purchased it in December 2017, and each time, it takes about 2 hours to use on quick cycle and all of the dishes are wet when you use the dry function. I thought I was putting in too many dishes so I only put in 5 items and again, it took 2 hours to finish and the heat function did not dry the dishes. In the process of calling a Samsung service tech. I purchased a 4 piece set and so far I had to call for service on the refrigerator, range and dishwasher. I'm starting to think that I was sold refurbished appliances.

Ordered from Samsung online. Took about a month to arrive and then did not work once it did arrive and was setup. It had a bad main board. After finally getting a technician out to diagnose it, it was quick and now works, but overall the experience with this device was terrible.

We are very happy with this dishwasher. It is quiet and it does an excellent cleaning job. We were concerned about some of the comments people had made about drying. However, if you follow Samsung's instructions and use the Sanitize feature and Jet Dry, the dishes will dry properly.

Am very pleased with the dishwasher's quiet operation. I am accustomed to additional options like turning off the drying cycle to conserve energy. Manual says the drying cycle runs 30 minutes longer if no rinse aid is used.

First new Dishwasher in a long time

We finally got a new dishwasher. It runs quiet and cleans pretty well. The buttons and instructions are easy to use. It does hold more dishes than our previous 15yr old dishwasher, but it doesn't seem to dry as well as the old one. But over all we are very pleased with this dishwasher.

I had trouble upon my first use, I did not have powdered soap or rinse aid. I used what I had on hand, which was pod soap. So the results were not the best. I bought the right products, no problems at all. The dishwasher is performing great. I like the quietness of it, this is what I needed, because my home has an open floor plan. My last dishwasher could not hear the TV. I would recommend this product.

Overall good basic dishwasher

We purchased the black model and so far it has performed quite well. We like the quietness during the wash and rinse cycles. The buttons on the front panel are easy to read. The one thing that is not very well defined is that the quick cycle is not very "quick" compared to the normal cycle, so it may depend on how many dishes you have to wash. We found it takes about the same amount of time (90 min or so) for both normal and quick cycles. We use the sanitize button to help with drying the dishes, since it does not have an extra heat/dry cycle. But for the price we paid, we are satisfied with the dishwasher.

After 15 years with the same old, same old dishwasher we decided to upgrade it at the same time that we were adding other new Samsung appliances to our kitchen.
