i rarely write reviews let alone bad ones but after two years of disappointments i had to put something in writing. i love my 5 samsung tv's but you guys need to stay out of the kitchen! i purchased a whole kitchen of samsung appliances just under 2 years ago... dishwasher, fridge, gas range & microwave. everyone is a major disappointment with countless issues that continue. i had service out several times before six months for most of them. i'm still angry with the person who recommended your appliances

as others have mentioned, this dishwasher doesn't clean well and it leaves food particles on glasses and items in the top rack. i have tried all of the recommendations regarding loading it properly, using the right amount of soap, etc. i've found i have to run the dishwasher on the heavy cycle for every load, or the dishes don't come clean. i also can't full load it, because plates on the bottom rack won't come out clean if they are next to each other. i have to leave a space between each dish if i want them to come out clean. this means the capacity of the unit is reduced to half and i'm running it every other day for two people.

we do not recommend this dishwasher at all. it runs forever, and dishes ate not clean at the end of the cycle. weve followed al of the tips, rinse our dishes clean before we put them in, but at the end of three hours they look just like they did. plus the buttons to get it to start have to be mashed foercely or wlse it foes not register to start. will likely drop another $600 to replace after only two months of use. i hate to see what this has done to our bill. i wish i could get our money back

this dishwasher is the absolute worst piece of garbage i have used in my life. intermittently works. when it does, it barely cleans and usually requires multiple washes. then it doesnt dry any of plastics. we have used and experimented with all sorts of detergents and versions of jet dry. had to have multiple pieces serviced and replaced. this thing stinks and i wouldn't recommend to anyone.
it does look nice. which i'm sure is why my bulder purchased it. the compliments stop there.

extemely poor quality. my samsung
dw80k7050us litterally died on christmas night. no power to the unit. did all the trouble shooting and read the blogs and yes, this is a very common issue witn samsung. the unit is just barely a year and a half and no longer works. extremely disappointed with the quality at samsung.

we have owned this dishwasher for more than 2 years and i can't stand it any longer. we have tried different detergent and different cycles but always end up with dirty dishes with dried debris on them. i also agree with others that it is not friendly to load. i am very dis-appointed in this product. it is quiet and offers some nice options, but the bottom line is it does not clean the dishes. shame on me for putting up with it for soooo long as we are now stuck with it or face spending more money to buy and install a new one that actually cleans the dishes. i do not recomend this dishwasher.

the door stopped popping open during the dry cycle- common complaint in some reviews and blogs-took the front panel of door off and plug wiggled loose- secured it and put panel back on now is working again! silverware bin lids hyperextend and pop off pushing in bottom rack. sturdy tub! quiet and cleans well. couple plastic clips for racks broke bottom rack. plastic rack coating cracked spot top rack and is corroding.

we really liked the dishwasher. we are a family of 3 and we were pleased with the express 60' washing cycle. light use, about every other day.
unfortunately after a little more than 2 years the machine started displaying error 4c. we had an appliance expert trouble shooting it with no luck or better not worth to repair...
we are very disappointed. we should not have to buy extended warranty for a reputable brand...

this is the worst dishwasher ever! i would rather have the one that leaked and was probably 10 years old over this hunk of junk. first, the tongs on the racks are all positioned so if you want to put a glass where the plates go, good luck! you have to make sure that you presoak everything before it goes in or it will come out just as dirty. i know samsung will say you need to load it a certain way, don't presoak. i studied their stupid manual on the "proper" way to load their dishwasher, it still doesn't clean anything! now this stupid thing just stopped working. we checked the breaker, checked the child lock, checked everything and it is doing nothing. it is excellent at is being a drying rack for the hand washed dishes we are doing since this broke down.

I purchased this washer as being a proud Samsung owner of many items they manufacture. I replaced an 13 year old whirlpool that washed better and cleaner than this new unit. we have to pre wash all the dishes prior to entering, and they never seem to come quite clean. Very unsatisfied customer with this unit!

I bought this Samsung D/W a few months ago and really wanted to like it. Now the plastic door latch doesn't release when opening the door so I have to cram a screwdriver down there every time. Also, every 1-2 months an error code LC? occurs where I have to dismount, pull out the entire dishwasher and lay it on its side to clear the 1-2 drops of water in the pan causing the error. Just not happy considering the high cost of the unit.

Purchased this dishwasher based on how much we love Samsung products. Everything we own in our kitchen is samsung. Even our washer and dryer are samsung. I'm writing this on my samsung phone. What ever you do, do not buy this terrible fish washer!! Owned it a week and taking it back already. It leaves a soapy scum all over the dishes, and cant even clean pre washed dishes. I have tried every mode, even the storm wash feature. It cant successfully use dish soap pods, as it leaves half the pod unused dripping down the inside of the door. I thought maybe it cant use pods so I bought traditional gel dish soap, nope. Still terrible. I went to samsung online and tried everything the told me to do. There answer was that it may have a technical problem and need service. It's a week old!!! Instead of arranging a tech to come out, I'm taking it back to lowes asap! I will be spending a little more but based on reviews I will be buying a Bosch. Do not waste your time on this dishwasher. It's not worth the savings.

a few months after purchase the machine started trowing error codes, now it will turn itself on and begin a cycle with the DOOR OPEN! we had to cut power to it. It will not run a a cycle, heat the water or turn off on its own. So regret buying this. I've been getting the run around all morning from "customer service"--say it with sarcasm! No one in my area will touch samsung appliances so I'm at the mercy of samsung--who will not help me today, to find a service tech. UUGH! so disappointed. A friend who built a new house recently warned me off as she had a great deal of trouble with her Samsung products (of which she bough an entire suite). I should have listened.

I bought this dishwasher part of the package i received. 2 days after purchasing it broke. It needed 3 different parts that were not available. The company i purchased through sent me another new one. 2 months later broken again. Samsung would not swap out. They could not get a technician out for a week. Samsung customer service would not work with me to make me happy after i also have had service calls for my fridge. They would not help me after my range was broken for a week during Christmas. Will never buy Samsung again or recommend to my worst enemy.

I bought this dishwasher 3 months ago within 3 days of purchasing it broke. A service technician came out and said it needed 3 different parts and the parts were not available!!!! The store i purchased from sent me a new dishwasher. Now it will not stop beeping and the dishwasher turns on by itself and tries to empty water out of it when there is none. I spoke to three Samsung representatives who said i need to get it fixed twice before they can even try and give me a upgrade to a different model. I technician will not be able to come out for a week. This is after i had to have my fridge and range also fixed after buying a whole Samsung set. Will never buy Samsung appliances again or recommend to anyone.

Dishwasher quit working and will not power on... I verified power to the dishwasher and after leaving the breaker secured for a day it started working again... Only to shut off during the cycle and not cut back on. Hoping Samsung will replace the circuit board that is still under warranty... My 26 year old dishwasher worked better than this!

I bought this dishwasher 17 months ago and now it is sitting stuck in "LC" code (leakage code) mode, even though there is no leak. From the beginning, it did not get our dishes clean. We always had to wash on "heavy wash" to get our dishes even somewhat clean. Washing on normal was a joke. We got a lot of food redeposits - that was primarily the problem, even on heavy wash. About 3 months ago, we got our first "LC" code. We discovered from looking online that this LC code is a problem with a wide variety of Samsung dishwashers, not just this model. So beware all Samsung dishwashers. We followed the directions on YouTube and on the Samsung site to clear this code. We had no leaks, though. So we unplugged it for an hour, plugged it back in, and it worked fine - for the next two months. We got the code again about 2 weeks ago. Did the same things to fix it. This time, left it unplugged for 12 hours and then it reset itself and ran fine. We got the code again a few days ago - of course right before Christmas. We did the same thing. Unplugged for 12 hours - no luck. Unplugged for 24 hours - no luck. Took the dishes out and dishwasher pod out, and it ran just fine. I thought the problem was solved. Put dishes and pod back in - LC code, and now here it sits. Because it was 5 months outside of warranty, it was going to be on our dime to fix it. Samsung would fix it for $200 minimum with a max of $300, and only a 3 month warranty on the repair. I was not thrilled with the prospect of having to pay half the cost of the dishwasher to get it fixed, when it wasn't a good dishwasher to begin with. So, we're buying a new dishwasher, NOT Samsung brand. Ugh.
