I bought this about 18 months ago. At about 12 months in a leak started. It leaks only enough to set off the sensor. Then it tries to pump out the unit until I unplug it. When I take it apart there is about half a cup of water in the sensor pan and no indication of what is leaking so I dry it all off and put it back together and we are good for another month. I am so sad that I bought this one. I wish I had gotten a dishwasher that doesn't leak.

So, after spending over $1000 for this dishwasher it quit working. The light turns on like it's going to start, but then error code LC comes up. I never leave reviews, but my frustration set in when I called the only Samsung certified technician around and it $100 just for service call, $60/ hour +parts. Therefore we are buying a new dishwasher and paying $20 to get rid of this one. Cheaper than getting this piece of junk fixed.

I had this dishwasher for 6 months before the door stopped opening at the end to finish the dry cycle. Someone came to fix it recommended by Samsung to only change the circuit board out and then it wouldn't even wash one cycle after that. Took 3 more weeks for someone to come put a new cuircit board in for it to work for a week and now it won't even do a cycle shuts off doesn't work. I have 3 little boys family of 5 and not having a dishwasher is very unconvient. Not impressed at all. What do I do now spend more money on a new one that probably will do the same Samsung?

This thing is definitely powerful - everything comes out squeaky clean flawlessly every time. There are a few issues, however: Samsung put the cart before the horse with the app support. I had this almost 9 months before the "Smart Things" app supported it. Furthermore, add this to your list of devices is unpredictable. I had to try it no less than 6 times over two different days, then finally it just worked. The door automatically opens when the cycle is done. That's great, but it fails to do so every once in a while. Now after about a year, the door no longer just cracks like it's supposed to. It opens all the way up and falls to the floor. I bought a 5 year warranty, so I'm sure the tech can patch me right up either way.

We have just finished new home construction and I recentlystarted using my Samsung dishwasher. I would say that the person who designed how this washer loads has never used a dishwasher before. Seriously. It is the worst loading dishwasher I have ever owned. To get my plates to fit in the bottom rack (10.75") I had to discard the upper flex rack--which I was very excited about--now it's unusable, so that I could raise the upper tray to get my plates and several small pots in the bottom rack. Additionally, the silverware holders have such big holes in the sides that my silverware pokes out thru them making it impossible to slide the rack in and out. My husband is going to buy some stainless steel screen and try and retrofit the holders to make them usable. Also, the metal used in the racks and for positioning is very flimsy. I would actually give this a one star but I gave it two because at least it is very quiet and I do like the fact that the door opens automatically when the wash is done, and it is nice looking.

To start with, the performance of this appliance is excellent. I especially like the quiet of the cycle, the waterfall cleaning, and the "kick-out" at the end of the cycle. It really has superior performance. One of my not-so exciting aspects is the arrangement of the rack spikes/tines (?) . Their arrangement and closeness made it difficult to arrange the dishes for drying. I was unable to put the majority of my dishes at an angle that allowed them to drain at the end of the cycle. The uprights were too close to allow a tilt to the dish/bowl. So... buy it! Work around the tilt issue. It is a great dishwasher.

I hope this model does not share the same design issues as the old model. I have had a previous design of this dishwasher - DW80H9930US. The machine is great but I seriously think there is a defect in the design. Since I have owned that model I have had multiple problems with SE problem. Samsung even sent a rep and he looked at the machine and told me that it was not setup correctly even though I had professionally installed. Because of that the water was backing up in the pump area and clogging. I got it installed again and the tech made sure that it was installed correctly and I still keep getting the SE error. I am not sure how others have fared with this machine.

Cheap products; We moved our new home about 4-5 years ago. We purchased all appliances from Samsung (Best Buy). Refrigerator, Dish Washer, Microwave, Owen, Dryer, Washer also laptops cell phones etc. We used previously Samsung products and had no major issues. We ordered those appliances set about 4 years ago. It was exciting nice looking. Nightmare is started after 1st l month later. Refrigerator bottom door handle broken. Samsung replaced hole unit. Dishwasher started leak error. Technician replaced console. refrigerator console screen started little while later 20" crack. Samsung send me new console I replaced my self-etc. after warranty, I spend a lot money to hire some local tech to repair a lot of other issues. Owen 2 times blower replaced broke again and we our not using blower options any more just cocking little longer watching make sure not burn our foods. Dish washer randomly made too many issues last one was 2-3 days ago replaced motor . Micro way console was blank ordered new console and replaced. Working now. Dryer making a lot of noise due to tech said drum is too big and no balance difficulty to fix he said used like this. My mom using Samsung refrigerator all most 20 years w/o no issue. I was talking to handy man tech and he said those products are made w plastic parts and broke easily. That's what we are dealing with it. My wife made mussels keep cleaning Samsung Stanly steel and trying with every cleaning products. Very difficult to clear up due to cheap Stanly Steels. I'm not putting down Samsung products. I think our chance that models are made cheap materials. Laptops/cells phones/Washer working order no issues. Thanks for all these SAMSUNG. S.&D. Erkul Mooresville, IN

This is a very cool dishwasher. It's really unfortunate that it is not reliable. We've tried two of them now and both have leaked. Both have displayed the "LC" error code multiple times. It appeared on the second one just two days after installation. The "LC" error shuts down the machine and then it chimes incessantly until it dries out. All you can do it shut off the breaker and wait a day or so for it to dry out. The repairman came to the house five times, but couldn't find or fix the problem. That dishwasher was replaced with a new one that turned out to have the same problem. We're now going to replace the second dishwasher with a new machine from a different manufacturer. We purchased a high-end Samsung refrigerator, wall oven, washer and dryer along with the dishwasher this past summer. The refrigerator ice maker has had to be repaired twice. The steam bake feature stopped working on the oven after four or five uses. Samsung makes some very innovative appliances, which is what appealed to us. Unfortunately, they have a lot of work to do to make them reliable. An innovative product that doesn't work isn't worth much.

This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned, I actually didn't think it was even running, you won't hear anything. The design, features and operation are top of the line, the 3rd rack is something I didn't think I would use, but I was wrong, it's use and position is perfect. Connecting the WiFi feature does take a bit of time and its intergration into Samsung Smarthings without the separate app would be a plus, but the feature is cool, overall this one is 5 Star!

I could sleep next to this dishwasher. In fact, I've actually considered recording its sounds and making it into a sleep sound to play at night. The only way you can hear this washer is if your in the same room; and even then it's relaxing. The color, black stainless, compliments my floors more than I ever thought; and vice-versa! Literally nothing short of amazing. I love it. It's worth every penny. I'd buy as many as I needed just like it, if I had a big enough home. I'm a "tech-y" person, and I love the technological ability of this dishwasher. I sound like a sales-person, or, a paid endorser. I assure you I am NOT. I just purchased a Samsung dishwasher(DW80M99), refrigerator (4-door flex RF23J9011SG), and microwave(ME21H706MQG). The best appliances I've ever bought, ever. Just l, unimaginably pleased!
