do not buy this range. we purchased it 15 months ago and three days ago the oven stopped heating. upon calling support, we were told that a visit fee from samsung care would be $140. i agreed under the assumption that whoever showed up would have the samsung parts and ability to fix the issue. such was not the case. a short 12 minutes here to diagnose, and a team return in 3 additional days so i can pay more money for labor and parts. our range is 1 year and 75 days old, and will now cost $400+ to repair. the lack of responsibility for a subpar product is beyond disappointing. do better, samsung. i will never buy another product from them.

one day, i was cleaning the cooktop and found out the cooktop melt. i am sure there are no cracks at all. this is more than 12 months old. i reached the customer service and warranty is expired. i have been cooking/living with more than 10 cooktop and this is my first time seeing cooktop melts.

so very sad to say. i have many samsung products historically. so thought i'd be safe with a high quality induction oven. well it works only partially - after 8 mos. the oven startted cutting out during preheat, then stopped working all together. the front oven panel also stopped working. i've had service in to fix it and wrong parts were sent to repairman. the self clean mode - burned out circuitry - likely was the comment. so now i've been going for 5 months with stove top only! yes of course - i'm told the warranty expired. what oven goes out in a year!!!??? i've never had oven problems before at any house - let alone a new one. samsung you've lost my loyalty.

this oven has a clear design flaw that allows the main frame to overheat. the first time we got the "c31" error was after a self clean. oven was only a few months old so it was repaired - replaced the entire electronics board. second and third time this happened was after cooking pizza at 550 degrees. i have owned this oven less than 2 years and am on my third repair. there is no doubt in my mind that it will break a fourth time and i will get it replaced by the warranty. hopefully by then there will be a new model available. very thankful i bought the warranty, but wish i could use my oven. going to call for my third repair tomorrow.

do not purchase!!!! rarely works as it's supposed to, the oven part is fine, but the stove is basically worthless. sometimes when it feels up to it, it will boil water and that's about it. customer service is of no help and getting anything repaired by samsung is a nightmare. do yourself a favor and don't waste your time dealing with a product so poorly made.

i purchased a slide-in induction range in 2015. everything was great for 4.5 years then the problems started. first one of the convection fans failed in january 2020, then in january 2021 both the circuit boards that power the cooking service failed. apparently there is a problem getting these boards as the servicing company that is doing the repair is still waiting on getting the boards. so unable to cook via induction for nearly 3 months. dissatisfied is an understatement, especially since this range cost about $3000 originally.

i ordered this range and from the very start it has been a horrible experience. first xpo delivery decides that they won't install it half way for some reason even though on my invoice i was charged for it. after having it installed i get a c-f0 error before i could even use the machine. after dealing with samsung care to send a tech out to fix it, they take over a week since they have to wait for parts to arrive. that seems fair, except when the technician finally comes to fix it he finds out that they ordered the wrong part so he couldn't even complete the repair. another week of waiting for him to finally come out with the right part and then he says it is too hard to fix and recommended that i exchange it for a new one. issue still unresolved.

i love it in general - top did break once from a jar dropping on it from about 3' up. but great for cooking, easy to use, etc. network time doesn't seem to be functional which is the main smart feature i want :( enabling it in the smart things app causes it just to turn off again, but every other smart feature works.

i wanted a top of the line induction oven. first month in, cooking in a skillet with a lid, left the steaming lid on a non-active burner. the hot steam pressurized and the glass broke. samsung didn't want to replace it under warranty, but they finally relented. later, ran the self clean feature, it caused the control board to stop functioning. i was able to fix it myself (replaced an inexpensive sensor) because it was no longer in warranty. now 2 years later, we did the self clean oven again. i had forgot this already happened once. the oven stopped an hour into the cycle and flashing error code c-f0. i'll be replacing either the sensor again or the entire control board. a range that fails self clean every single time is not good enough.

did a remodel a few years ago and replaced our electric stove with this induction range. the induction range you get the control of gas and the easy clean up of a glass top electric, but bonus you do not have the heat. there have been many occasions i had something on the stove top and it started boiling over and i just grabbed a towel and placed it under the pan and continued cooking. the oven does its job and the warming drawer has been an extra delight. we use it a lot especially to keep a dinner plate warm for the one that is working late. my husband is now looking at moving and i am already thinking i am going to need this range wherever we end up. i never want to go back to electric or gas after using this.

our range was installed just a year ago, purchased two months earlier for kitchen renovation. worked find for a year, then recently started burning food such that our smoke detectors would go off. today, an oven set at 350% blackened a cake within 5 minutes. showed error code c-21. we turned off our circuit breaker to reset as per instructions, same thing happened again. samsung says it's out of warranty and denies this being a problem, though reading through reviews on the home depot website this is in fact a common problem. wish we'd gone with ge.

bought unit last month and installed in new home went to turn it on and right off the bat it doesn't work not the oven nor the stovetop. when i registered the product samsungs site said the warranty was already expired. it is currently under review but i don't know how the warranty could be expired on a new purchase before it was even used once. i have high hopes that samsung will make this right. i love their mobile devices and was planning to get more samsung appliances to match in the kitchen if they can make this expensive but high tech stove work.

Great Features and Performance - Poor Software

Bought this range a few weeks ago and could not be happier with the cooking performance. Being an induction cooktop, the burners heat up very fast - reducing overall cooking time. We have found that we need a lower temperature setting on the burner than our old range required. The oven cooks evenly and seems to be accurate in it's temperature setting. Our old oven often required additional cooking time, meaning that it either wasn't accurate in it's reading of the oven temperature, or, the temperature varied widely during cooking. Two design features impacted our choosing this range. One was the 1/2" lip around the cooktop. This made it a great replacement for our Roper range, that also had a lip around the cooking surface. The new range fit seemlessly with our counter top and there was no open space between the cooktop and the counter for thing to fall into. Most manufacturers have abandoned the overhang on the sides and back of the cooking surface, requiring the customer to buy a separate trim kit to fill the gap. These often look tacked on. The second feature was the overall depth of the range itself. We have a kitchen island comprised of two standard depth kitchen cabinets, a back, and a counter top. Most of the competing brands were deeper by several inches, which would have required significant modification of our island, and used more of our valuable kitchen floor space. The Samsung did require about a 1" trimming of the back of the cutout on the counter top, but otherwise slid into place. It looks like a built in cook top with an oven below. We did have problems with the Smartthings software. The PlayStore told us that it was incompatible with our phone, which is a Samsung. Calling Samsung I got two opposing answers as to whether the software was compatible. Experience showed that it would not load on my phone. I did get it working by sideloading the app from another source, and it has been working fine. Not sure how much I will actually use this feature, especially due to the fact that you have to press a button on the oven to put it into the mode where the software will control the oven, which pretty much means you have to pre-plan your preheating. Probably a safety thing, or a software limitation, who knows. As a knit pick, we did notice that the electronic control panel is extremely sensitive to touch. Reaching for something on one of the back burners can easily start/stop the oven inadvertently with the touch of an apron. Fortunately it does beep to let you know you got too close! Overall, this seems to be the perfect product for our needs. Love induction cooking; the oven is a big improvement; looks great; and installed with minimal change to our kitchen. Great job Samsung! Just keep working on that software.

Defective Product - Horrible Customer Support

I have purchased this range as part of Black Friday's deals on November 28th. I was attracted by the great value and with the idea of having top induction technology integrated with Smart Home applications. Unfortunately my experience with the range and with Customer Service has been "poor" to say the least. The product delivery was initially scheduled for 12/11, then it was postponed to 11/21, then to 11/27, which prevented me to host Holiday events with my family as I initially planned to. When the product was delivered, I noticed it was defective (the cooktop would stop after few seconds displaying a "FOH" error and has never worked since). Basically, according to Samsung's manual the communication between the main and inverter PBA is interrupted which is a major problem for a range with main electrical components and dependencies. I was offered technical support, which could not come before 1/11 and has not been able to resolve my issue despite replacing major electrical component parts of the appliance. To make matter words, I felt that Samsung customer service pushed the blame on me: first they alleged i "did not have the right cookware", then they stated that my warranty does not cover return because I did not ask for it within 24h for delivery, which was not disclosed to me earlier and seems absurd for a unit of such value. So I am currently stuck with tech support with an undetermined timeline for resolution. To this day I have a malfunctioning product, no ability to cook besides microwaving, and no line of sight as of when it will be repaired. I will update my review once I am actually able to test the product and speak about its features. So far, I would not recommend any Samsung product due to their extremely poor customer service.

love the Range especially the fact it uses induction/magnetic technology. i had this oven since march2018 and the glass top is still clean with no cooked on residue due to the fact that the surface doesnt heat up but rather the cookware.

Love this induction range! Beautiful design,- form AND function. Cooks fast and even. Under 5 minutes to boil a large pot of water! Very easy to clean too (with Creamabrite) love the huge oven without exposed heating coil. Wifi is a nice feature, but not totally necessary . The glass control panel is also easy to clean. The gripes: Broiling is done with the oven door closed which is a little difficult to get used to - The oven shuts off if the door is left open. The timer alarm is a little low on volume. You can easily turn the oven on by brushing up against it , but it does require a confirmation to actually start a function , and there is a very easy to use lock out feature that locks the control panel . Very minor grapes considering I really love this range .

We found this oven to simple to operate and the induction cooktop is fast and is as easy to control as natural gas. Easy to connect to wifi which has some cool features like self diagnostic. Very happy with this appliance.

Love this range. I always cooked with electric but never induction also standard oven never convection. All I can say it WOW. The induction cook top is faster and more effiecent that a standard electric range. I love the convection oven. Cakes, pies and cookies come out fluffier and crispier. I don't know why I waited so long to buy one.
