we've had the oven for nearly 6 months now and here's my review. the cook top works great and is powerful.
the oven itself is horrible. this is the first gas oven i have ever owned but i will never own one again. initially we had to cook things for twice as long as recipes called for and significantly higher temperature. i recalibrated the temperature to add the maximum, 35 degrees, and it still didnt cook well enough. we called samsung and they sent a tech you said the oven works as intended. so now every recipe is a guess. a boxed brownie mix took 55 mins at 425 when the directions said to cook 30 mins at 400.

we've had no problems with it for the past year and half we've owned it when we bought the house.
then i pulled a pot out of the cabinet and the handle barely tapped the side of the glass door which immediately shattered the entire door. i can't believe that could even happen. no call or reply to my ticket. found a new door online and am fixing it myself because no one is replying to my messages. portal says my oven is out of warranty. this is a public safety / design issue.

just as the warranty went out, things stopped working. the switch membrane touch pad stopped working completely. i don't even know when it broke because i never use the over often. over all a very bad experience.

so we purchased this from lowes 3 years ago and it seemed to work fine, cooks okay but now the
middle led section on the last digit of the clock/timer is "burnt out" so you have to look at the microwave above it to see what the true time is. its a samsung too so we are hoping it does not have the same issue. $80 just for the panel.

by far the worst stove i have ever owned, period. you can't simmer anything, or cook a pot of rice. the burners are way to hot. the oven sucks. it is off by 30 degrees. again, don't bother!

the oven just won't cook anything properly. i just bought this but it definitely has to be replaced before thanksgiving because you can't even cook a frozen pizza in it let alone a 20 pound turkey!

Bought this about 7 months ago but only used it for 5 months. House was under construction but it was a great deal so we just bought it. It's used daily and it's great, love all the burners. Only problem with it is that the ignition switch stopped working about 2 weeks ago which really sucks since it's really only 5 months old. Samsung wouldn't honor the 1 year warranty because I lost the receipt. So had to pay for the repair on my own, was told by the repair guy that this happens a lot with Samsung's. Just upgraded all my kitchen appliances to Samsung but honestly after this I will not being buying another Samsung appliance.

I purchased this gas range as a package with other Samsung kitchen appliances. We are very happy with the stainless steel looks of these appliances. I like the cooktop space. The large middle burner is a very nice feature.

We bought this stove 2 years ago. It worked OK, until about a week after the warranty expired. It rarely heats up to temperature. It keeps turning off, or just stops heating. I can still feel some heat, but when I open the door, I smell gas. They can't even suggest someone for me to call to come and look at the thing. I will NEVER deal with Samsung again.

I bought mine and had issues the second week. The oven stopped working. The coil igniter failed. I had some replacement issues,but Samsung was able to fix my issues. Overall the stove works well...but I would recommend n end getting a warranty

I absolutely love this stove it's beautiful and has all the features I need! The only feature I wish it did have was the self cleaning option but not too big of a deal as I keep it clean! I recently switched from electric and gas and love it!!! have no issues so far cleaning up is easy and love the 5 burner!!

After initial hook up and having the gas turned back on there was an immediate gas smell. After testing with an electronic gas sniffer it is leaking at the oven orifice which indicates the oven control valve is bad from the factory. Having to place a warranty service request for a potentially deadly factory defect is unacceptable.

I bought this stove in Nov 2016 from Lowes. As soon as I got it delivered and installed, I went on to use the oven. I noticed it would stay on for a couple of minutes then turn off for another couple minutes and so on. Turn on turn off. I called Samsung. They said the oven does that to prevent food from burning. That supposedly it turns off once it reaches the desired temp and will turn off to prevent the overheating. I left it at that. I was like ok cool. Makes sense. So next time I went on to use it to cook the same thing I've been cooking for years. With the same oven temp and same cook time, my food was still uncooked. It took a little bit more than an hour to fully cook something that I have always cooked only 30 minutes. The next time I used it, I put in 2 thermostats of my own. One stuck on the food I was cooking and another on the rack, sure enough once the oven turned off, after a few seconds the temperature on both thermos went down ranging from 8°-15°. Does anyone know of a way I could take this "feature" off so I could just have the oven stay on. Unfortunately my warranty expired already. And I only used my oven no more than 3 times before it did.

We purchased our stove in January of 2017. We don't cook everyday because there is just my husband and I here in the house. We went to cook our Sunday meal today and the oven will not heat up. And my warranty expired 4 days ago!!!!
I will not be purchasing Samsung appliances in the future, that is for sure. Their televisions are great, but their appliances obviously have issues.

Looks like Samsung designed this model with a false assumption that everyone used flat bottom utensils for cooking. They forgot to consider that few people still uses WOK for cooking. The grate that comes with the range is good only for flat utensils. Now I am repenting. Several communications with Samsung reps didn't result in any solution.
If you have already purchased the range, be prepared to spend extra money to buy WOK RING so you can use WOK. Other alternative is to return the range.

As a pancake love, the 5th griddle burner in the center appealed to my flat delicacy addiction. In a closer look what I found was a great balance between function, features resulting in this Samsung Stove being a great value. You can spend a great deal more on fancy features but for those of us that want a trustworthy stove and want to flip a blueberry pancake once in a while, have a look at this stove.

We bought Samsung electric stove first because we wanted the flat surface, but we changed our mind and went back to gas one. This one gas stove is way beyond expectations and it cooks much faster than the old gas stove we had. Best thing about it that it's all programmable so you can time it and leave it to cook your food while your away. Best appliance upgrade so far!

As the title states this oven is fantastic. 4 burners of varied size, plus a long griddle burner in the middle. Cooks food evenly and effectively. The ONLY downside, and thus the only reason for 4 stars, is the lack of a self clean option. Besides that, you can't go wrong, especially for the price.

Knowing a great brand for kitchen appliances makes buying easy. With a refrigerator and microwave from SAMSUNG, it wasn't hard to pick a replacement stove. The gas burners quickly light and I like watching the temperature increase degree-by-degree.
