i ordered appliances from samsung directly on may 24, 2020. the items did not arrive until middle july. i tried to warranty a faulty knob on the oven july 13 and was told it was out of warranty. they started my warranty when i ordered it - not upon delivery. be aware, if your appliances are back ordered, you warranty will begin upon ordering, not delivery. 6 month delay? 6 month warranty. very disapointing.

within the first few months theblack stainless steel finish came off with normal cleaning,then the mother board went and was covered under warranty. the new mother board sometimes does not work . i push buttons and it just won't turn on or off. it's no longer under warranty . the rubber feet have fallen off of the grates as they apparently cannot withstand stove heat and in order to replace them ,i have to buy new grates entirely!!! that costs a couple of hundred dollars . my grates are lopsided and my stove is scratched . it's dangerous . i can't seem to email the company directly and i can't find replacement for the rubber feet anywhere online i will never buy another samsung appliance .

Black Stainless Finish Has Issues

we bought our samsung range in october of 2018. while the range has performed well the durability of the black stainless finish (paint?) is disappointing. soon after the warranty ended the coating on the front panel behind the knobs started flaking off. 2 years from new it has peeled off more then halfway across the top. while writing this review i was prompted to contact samsung about any issues i had because of the 3 star rating. i did & they couldn't care less! don't waste your time. samsung got our money once, it won't happen again.

this oven worked very well for about 9-10 months. heated up fine, etc. after that, we began to notice the 'bake' function was having issues. it appeared that the igniter was working properly, but the gas was not flowing properly. a quick internet search led to a 30+ page *samsung* community post detailing how the issue is most likely the gas safety valve and the fact that samsung does not recognize this as a defect. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/kitchen-and-family-hub/samsung-oven-not-heating/td-p/115697/page/35 *to samsung: don't leave me some canned response message below this review. take care of your customers or lose them.

my broiler basically burned and melted my panel and samsung will not cover it under warranty. they are claiming user error. i barely purchased in january 2020 and received february 22, 2020 i think i know how to use an oven by now. i have been telling them the broiler gets too hot. finally i did see another customer with the same issue and decided to call in. samsung claims i use the back burners because they are so small. i only use the front two burners on my stove. i do not want anything for free i just want my stove repaired, why should a brand new stove over heat. makes me not want to use the broiler feature nor the oven. that defeats the purpose of purchasing a new oven

i bought this gas range one year ago in march 2019 and hardly used (only 2-3 times) the oven for baking anything. now in march 2020 the oven stopped working because of defect in sensor system.

I loved the color and the grills on this stove, when first purchased. It is a beautiful stove. However, my disappointment came within the first 6 months of owning the stove I noticed the color comes off the stove very easily. It was small at first and continues to get worse - I doubt there is anything they can do. I do not use scrubbers or rough cleaning products and yet the color has rubbed off. Otherwise, performance is great, easy to use and looks nice.

Best Range We've Ever Had

One Rack Short 3/27/2020

We have had our Samsung range now for several months. The only complaint is that to have 3 oven racks you have to buy the same stove (different model number) for about $300 more and there doesn't seem to be any way to order an additional rack. Other than that it is absolutely excellent. Burner control is great and the LED lights are a nice touch. The oven is accurate and even. We couldn't be happier if it weren't for the rack issue.

LOVE the look of this stove - AND the ease of using it. It's wonderful......however, it scratches VERY easily and for the money we spent on it, you'd think there was some kind of fix for light scratches. There's not....and what's worse, the "LIVE CHAT 7 days a week/24 hours a day" is false advertising! I tried and it was an automated response EVERY time I went on. Screen shots to prove it! Samsung support leaves A LOT to be desired. Buyer beware.
