ive had my fridge for two days and it is scratched in multiple oplaces. we do not use magnets and have no idea how thia happenes?!? beyond disappointed. also it is 100% not fingerprint resistent. it shows prints wverywhere

we really like the layout and look of this refrigerator, but the ice maker makes us not want to get another samsung product and we are in the market for a new oven and microwave . the ice maker is always freezing over. we have had it replaced once and it continues to have the same problem. it is so frozen over now, i can't pull the ice maker out of the compartment. how doesn't this warrant a recall? expensive fridge and we are using old fashion ice trays. also, the drawer in the freezer is always coming off its tract.

ice machine is awful- customer service: terrible
customer service- perhaps the worst part of this whole experience: i reached out about the ice maker (freezes up, repeatedly). customer service we are within warranty and they would send a repair man so they opened a ticket. the ticket was then closed because no service was available in the area. i was texted that i "may be eligible for compensation" because they could not honor the warranty, and to reach back out to samsung. i did, and samsung just opened the ticket again and the same process happened again. three times- i am getting the run around so samsung does not actually have to honor their warranty. it's so frustrating, and i hope someone who reads this will actually help us before the warranty expires.

this counter depth refrigerator is beautiful. i love the streamlined look.
however, the icemaker has frozen up over and over. this requires manually defrosting the ice maker. i've seen my same complaint repeated by others across the internet. samsung please, please, please figure out how to fix this issue.
an appliance this expensive should not have this problem. i am defrosting the ice maker again while i write this review.

bought this refrigerator 2 years ago. all features work excellent including our ice maker. we have a water purification system and have not had the issues so many reviews have stated. worst issue is you could hear the ice dropping throughout the night. we use the ice and water every day and enjoy the water dispenser fill up.
the only problem we have had is like another reviewer stated, the hinges don't allow for the doors to open forward so you can't be close to a cabinet or wall. mine was too close to the wall on its right and the top corner of the fridge hit the wall when first installed and knocked a piece of the black coating off. i moved the unit to the left a little and have not had any issue with it since.

i've had 2 new doors because they came with scratches. then a magnet with a picture caused a new scratch. i had to get a new ice maker, now the ice maker is dripping water inside and outside of my refrigerator. i did get help from chat to reset the ice maker today to see if it will stop the leaking. don't get the black stainless steel. shows fingerprints like crazy and scratches terrible.

the door/flapper that dispenses the ice continuously opens and closes. it's loud. and no ice until it is fixed. after researching online and on forums, this seems to be a prevalent issue with these. broken wire that is surrounded by foam, so you can't get to it to fix it, must replace the whole door. longer story short, samsung (said they would take care of it) but now is unable to because there is no "samsung technician" available in our area. they are out of business. the local repairman is an authorized samsung dealer, but he can't work on our appliance for them to cover it. so we have a broken 18 mo. old, $3k fridge, that we now have to pay to repair. unreal.

our fridge is one of literally thousands (if not more) that has major issues with the ice maker. we tried all the 'fixes' suggested and nothing has worked. our icemaker is totally useless, just like the samsung customer service! we contacted samsung even when our fridge was still under warranty, but they wouldnt do anything. wasted hours on the phone trying to get someone to help us. this is a well-known issue that is in the middle of a large lawsuit. i wish they would just own up about the malfunction and fix it.

i am usually a type of customer who never really write a bad review on my purchase because of little flaws here and there on the product but this piece of appliance is a huge disappointment from my experience. i purchased this refrigerator at best buy and it was recommended to me. at first, the refrigerator was very nice and roomy and looked like a very high-quality product. i loved it and had no problems for the first few months. then approximately 4-5 months in, the ice maker decided to stop working and froze over the whole freezer compartment all of the sudden. a little over 2 years, the whole fridge just stopped working all together and we had to buy a new fridge. i will not buy another fridge from samsung's again.

i'm not one to usually write bad reviews, but i should have also read the reviews on the ice maker issue. i've had this fridge for 3 years now and the ice maker gave out within the 1st year and now the auto water refill has completely stopped working and i am a big water drinker. i love the design of the fridge, but this is a big downfall for me.

we purchased this product in aug 2020 within the first month or so the freezer stopped cooling. called service but was told that there wasn't a tech in my area. well it starting working so i thought it was just a hiccup. no big deal... well here we are november 2020 and its not working again called service same story no tech in the area. so now i'm told i have to wait another 3-5 days for case management to call me. in the meantime i'm dealing with a fridge that is not staying cold while samsung jerks me around.

do not buy!!!!' awful this is the worst refridgerator i have ever owned. the water filter needs a wrench for it to be removed and changed. the ice maker is awful!!! it freezes up every other day and needs to be emptied. thats if you can get it out. currently the ice maker is frozen solid and cannot be removed. i will need to defrost my entire refridgerator. it is also causes my fridge not to hold its temperature.
fyi- this refriegerator is in a beach home that is barely used. i have been living in this home for the last 2 months while my other home is being renovated. i have read numerous reviews and youtube videos in this issue. i am worried that the ice build up has caused damage to tbe coils.this appliance is 2 years old. i had a ge profile for 16 years that still works.

i bought the fleet. fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher. each one of them gave me issues in the first year, the dishwasher just smells so i can deal with that. but this is about the fridge.
like all of the other reviews, the ice maker constabtly freezes. i cant even open it at this point to do the amazingly annoying hair dryer defrost or the system defrost. we generally have to defrost the ice maker every 1.5 weeks or else is freezes shut. this is the absolute worst design ever. when you pay almost $3,000 youd at least hope the ice maker works consistently. it is insane there isnt a recall or class action suit on this yet. i gave it two stars because ice maker aside i do like it. i just cant sort out the ice maker.

we have this fridge for a little over two years, we like the appearance and features of this fridge. however, the ice maker definitely has design flaw. the space for ice to drop is way too narrow. it started to jam over a year ago; and it does not have a defrost function. i had to use warm water to melt the ice. when it started, i had to do that once a month. now frosting becomes so severe and the ice maker can only work a few days after each defrosting. i am not sure if a new ice maker will solve this problem.

We just received a replacement after having our original fridge for about 2 years. The ice maker froze up 3x and techs were dispatched to fix. When it happened a fourth time we were offered a replacement which was great. Fridge has great space and looks nice but is also prone to dents for unknown rwasons. We woke up one day and the fridge was dented by the door, looks like something inside caused it. Samsung customer service was great!

Product has been performing well for just under three years, and it sure looks fantastic, too. Very happy we bought it. Also happy we got a vendor warranty extension, because icemaker broke at about 2.5 years; vendor covered repair. Ice quality is somewhat inconsistent -- cubed isn't really cubed, and size of "cubes" or chips varies. Hope these design flaws corrected by now.

we purchased the refrigerator on august 2017 and problems began in 2018 the ice maker would stop working and get stuck, we called over three times and customer support was just as their product horrible. they came out twice and we not only have the ice maker problem now we have a freezer that does not freeze. we were told today that the whole freezer system was shot and we needed to purchase a new refrigerator. i attempted to call samsung and was on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes no-one ever answer so i had to hang us. we now have to wait two days for someone to contact us from samsung. 800-726-7864 horrible customer service. horrible

this refrigerator started out great but within less than a year the ice maker has been freezing over. this has caused several water leaks on my flooring and several hours trying to thaw out the ice maker to get it working again. also they talked me into the black stainless indicating it does not take on fingerprints again not true it is horrible with fingerprints and smudges. and now during a heat wave no ice and during my sons wisdom teeth ext no ice for ice packs., very expensive purchase that i feel does not stand up to its value.

This refrigerator was purchased as a second choice when original selection became unavailable. The refrigeration and freezing work fine. However, the ice cube maker and water dispenser leave a lot to be desired. The overall construction is not as well done as I'd like; however, that could be tolerated as it could be chalked up to personal preference and tolerance.

This is a really good refrigerator with plenty of room for all of our families food items. The freezer compartment is spacious enough for compared to others. The water dispenser is the best both outside and inside with the water container. It has a for putting in your favorite fruits. The only gripe I have is the ice maker. It constantly clogs up with ice and renders the ice maker useless. I constantly have to defrost it so it can work again. Bad design.

i bought this refrigerator 2.5 years ago. issues started with the ice maker freezing over right after the 1 year warranty. over 5 weeks ago the fridge completely stopped getting cold. 2 techs later and with samsung agreeing the fridge is not repairable. the part that went out luckily has a 5 year warranty. samsung has told me i could get a refund of what i paid or a new fridge. they keep giving me the run around. spoke to a rep last friday to see what the delay is about. she says the process is the "locating stage" and could take another 2-3 weeks! how can it take that long to look up a item number and locate it their own system? please do not even think about purchasing this fridge.

We have had our new Samsung refrigerator for about 6 months and we are completely happy with it. Our previous refrigerator was a side-by-side and we never felt either the freezer or refrigerator compartments were easy to use. Getting food in and out was always difficult, especially in the refrigerator where food would get pushed in behind other items and we would forget they were there and ended up throwing a lot of food away.
Not so with our new Samsung! The freezer section now holds more food than our old one and all of the items are easy to access. The center drawer is wonderful - we can now keep all of our deli items like cheese and sliced meats in one place which makes it easy to see at a glance what we have available. The shelves located on the refrigerator doors have a nice depth to them so we can actually use them to store a significant amount of items instead of cluttering up the main shelves. Because the main shelves are not as deep as our prior unit, we can easily see everything in the refrigerator and as a result we seldom end up throwing anything away.
I never thought a refrigerator could make such a difference but this one has certainly simplified our lives!

After having a Samsung refrigerator from 2005 till now never gave me any issues so I decided to buy another little did I know this one would be a nightmare I bought this refrigerator on 9-13-2017 worked okay till last October 2018 had to replace ice maker because it was freezing ice on top gues what still freezing ice on top I have to just check once a week and remove it but it got worst may 2019 my freezer is not freezing and the flex drawer not cooling refrigerator is cooling fine of course I'm out of warranty still called Samsung a tech was sent which I paid $100.0 for just diagnostic he tells me I have to replace parts all costing $750.00 I might as well put a few more dollars and buy a new refrigerator luckily I have a refrigerator in my basement till I can figure out what to do. I have read other reviews from other sites and their having same issue this is a nightmare.
