great fridge, horrible ice maker. nothing but problems and is out of warranty. constantly have to defrost with a hair dryer. gave up, now we just use bag ice for our guests. this is a problem for all samsung fridges. avoid!

Beverage drawer!

I bought my refrigerator 2 years ago and I am pleased with it. Plenty of room inside and in the freezer. I have to say the very best feature is the beverage storage drawer. I have a soda drinking in my home and this saves from having the refrigerator opened numerous times each day. The one con is a common one, the ice maker. It freezes up when using both ice and water dispenser. Not the best design.

i spent $7500 bill on appliances last april 2018 and they won't even help pay for the $200 bill to fix the problem. they don't even know who the local service person in the area.

the freezer is erratic and will simply stop working by itself, although the display will tell you that it's at 0 degrees and working properly and the diagnostic check says the same thing.

we have to chisel the ice maker every 2 weeks. this is a known defect to samsung yet they won't issue a recall or fix it if it's out of warranty. don't waste your money on this fridge.

after 33 days my freezer defrosted, ruining food. that night it started to cool again. freezer and flex temps are low by over 8ºf. service looked at the fridge, said nothing was wrong and left!

ice maker is a joke. the chute jams with ice, water runs down the front. ice maker will ice it self over and not work. freezer looks like the north pole. for this price everything should work.

2nd one in 1 1/2 years and ice maker freezes. It's a known problem I'm told by Best Buy. We've now got issues with water coming out (continuously) from behind the panel that you press to get ice/water. Spend this much on a product, you expect better quality.

I have this fridge for 7 months now. It is spacious, well organized, the metal inside cools this fridge really well. I love the flex drawer, and use it for white wine bottles. Also the bottom freezer is well organized and keeps veggies and meat separate. There is plenty of space in the door. The filtered water tastes great. We use the hub all the time, either to look up recipes or to watch a YouTube video. Outside look great, just be careful when cleaning, the metal has a protective film (fingerprint proof) that could get scratches easy. It is a quiet fridge.

Ice Maker is Junk

The refrigerator and Family Hub are great but the unit comes with a piece of junk for an ice maker that freezes up all the time. You will get to chip ice every week and there is not really a fix for it. Read other reviews on the web before purchasing they will tell you the same thing.
