the ice maker sucks. it still produces ice but it frosts up and freezes up too. i have to scrape the extra built-up ice from the inside of the ice maker every week.

the evaporator fan makes a loud noise due to hitting ice that forms around it. the ice maker doesn't work because it continually freezes over. the crisper bins get 1 to 2 inches of water in them.

I select this frig based on the price and the Consumer Report review. The exterior holds a lot of finger prints. The interior seem well laid out, same for the freeze. This one was produced in September of 2016. Time will tell if they have fixed the ice maker issues. I gave the ice room area a quick look and it appears the unit is seal against warm air coming in from the frig area.

I registered the fridge we got on Feb. 8 2017. But the latest I could go to was Dec. 31 2016 on the drop down menu. Early review. Fridge seems alright so far: 7/10 - Please fix the register warranty/product page. There's 2 of them. One is quite broken and does not have my model. A card came with the fridge with that URL. Did not work. Found an alternate page that lead me to write this review. It only half worked. Like I said, you need to add in the current year, 2017.

We love the pull out freezer on the bottom as well as the middle drawer for keeping cold cuts or wine! We never had a french door style before so was a learning curve on where to put things but now we love it!! The ice and water dispenser is slick and easy to use. Very happy with this refrigerator and would definitely recommend it to others.

The wife and I were looking for a new refrigerator after our 20 year old fridge was not very energy efficient and just getting old looking. We chose this model from the home improvement store near us because of the deep discount and energy star rebates, so far it is working fine, it is only a week old.

My new fridge was delivered today, and I'm already in love with it. It looks fabulous, and cooled down to the desired temp in no time at all. It runs extremely quietly, and I love the door ice/water feature! So glad I updated to this model. It is a bit pricey, but you get your money's worth!

I've only had this fridge a week but really am enjoying it. The flex drawer is great - so nice to have a full width space in case of need & a great place to store items used often. Only thing I haven't liked about it is the ice maker - it's very noisy & slow to drop out the ice. But unlike other french door type made by other manufacturers, the ice maker is inside the fridge, not on the door which might be the reason for the delay. Sort of a good-bad idea; good since it keeps the weight off the door but bad since it takes up space inside. Samsung has provided a fold-up shelf to help with this & it does. I would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone looking for a french door refrigerator.
