Some weird features

1st: no explanation of how to use the flip shelf. it looks like it's permanently attached to the other shelf. went to u tube and found a video. 2nd: you have to turn off the water supply to change the filter which they want you to do twice a year. my water supply line in behind the refrigerator on it's own line. i'm 81 years old. how am i supposed to do this? 3rd: the design of the bins on the door with the icemaker is insane. the ice maker design is awful. i had a kenmore elite with the icemaker compactly in the door. we had a power surge that killed that fridge and i had to hurry and buy something. i'm just praying that it works better than it was designed.

i heard all the tales about the ice maker . and was worried that i would have a lot of problem. but i wanted that frig because it fit my needs. great frig way better then the kenmore elite i replaced. was not a bad refrig it just went out and i lost all of my food. so rather getting it fix i wanted to more too something new. i love the black stainless steel look . so i went for it and i was happy i did. great frig!

Ice Maker broke for the 2nd time - two years old

i bought three samsung products, a dishwasher and this refrigerator two years ago and now have bought a samsung stove that i am regretting as the other two appliances within two and half years have broke. this refrigerator, the ice maker keeps freezing and we cannot use. we have had someone here once and are waiting for the third time. not good. i will now write about the dishwasher. i am so upset and wish i researched more. i was never disappointed with their products before.

i'll start by saying it looks great. people think it's the coolest fridge ever. being the owner of it is not the same though. apps are buggy. ring constantly won't load, spotify plays on its own at random times, tv mirroring... i called samsung about it. they told me i needed to have my tv within 10 feet of the fridge or it won't work. my 8 series tv being 30 feet away is too far to even be seen. (even though moving it next to it didn't fix the issue, support was worthless). i tried to return, but i have had it too long. posting a review to help anyone else i can

Failed within one week of install

within 1 week of install this refrigerator stopped working. i immediately reached out to samsung but the soonest available appointment for repairs is 3 weeks from the date of inquiry. i'm without a refrigerator to store food and all my food that was in the fridge is spoiled. they said they will compensate me for spoiled food, but that won't occur until after the unit is fixed. as a consumer, i am disappointed with the urgency samsung has demonstrated here. i highly discourage purchasing products from samsung based on their inability to fulfill their customer obligations to deliver trustworthy and dependable products. additionally, their inability to act with urgency to solve this issue demonstrates no loyalty to their customers and has completely eliminated all trust i had in their brand.
