my beautiful fridge now has water leaking from under refrigerator door and ice accumulates under deli drawer. two door shelf bins have cracked off and deli drawer is cracked.

We got the 2015 version of this fridge and it's been a nightmare. Two years in, It stopped cooling because the ice built up, we paid a technician to fix that twice, and now 4 years in - the condenser just died. Look up 84E error. Samsung is willing to give us a replacement for free but I just fpu d out its $500-600 to swap out. So now I'm going to go and buy anything but Samsung as a replacement as this is my second Samsung that has died.

DO NOT BUY!!! Purchased at Lowe's 3 years ago. A few months ago it starting freezing up in the vents in the back of the refrigerator. Large chunks of ice form and hinder the fan operation, thus making horrible noises. The only "solution" is to unplug the machine and let it thaw for a day or two. While storing all food in coolers! When the ice melts we plug it back in and a week later the freezing occurs again. Research shows this is a common problem due to design flaw.

Will never buy a product from this company again. Have had nothing but problems since it hit the 2 year mark. Refrigerator will not stay cold. The twin cooling system is a joke. The fan keeps freezing up. Have had the repairman here 3 xs and he doesn't know what else to try except junk it or start randomly changing parts to see if it will work. I have just had to unload the fridge part; for the fourth time since May and ;haul all our food to the refrigerator we have downstairs that is 25 yrs old. Ridiculous!! We are now heading out to purchase another refrigerator and I can guarantee it will not be a samsung!!!!!!!!

The shelves the fridge have a frame below the surface of the shelf which constrain the depth of the overall interior of the fridge, and constrain the height of the items that you can put below them.
The design of a few years ago (we had owned a previous version of this fridge in our old home) were not designed like this, and did NOT constrain the height and depth available on the shelves in the fridge. Returning to the previous design would be an improvement.

I purchased this refrigerator because I have numerous samsung products and have been happy with them for many years, well I guess I should've know better than to buy a fridge from an electronics company! This is the worst fridge I have ever had. When the fridge works it is a great fridge, good room, adjustable shelving, lots of space, etc. The bad is that every three months the cooling element inside the fridge builds up with ice, and the fridge stops cooling. The first time it happened we called Lowes and they told us to call Samsung. After talking to Samsung they could not help us because they don't have a service center within 500 miles of our address. Lowes would take it back because it had been to long and Samsung wouldn't warranty it because we are too far away. No other service tech we talked to would touch it while it was under warranty. So long story short we manually defrost the fridge every 3 months and then it works again for awhile. I will not be buying anymore appliances from Samsung and will not recommend them to anyone!!

We bought this fridge to replace a trio. Love this. It's slightly bigger and the 1 cu ft difference is huge. The lighting is great. Only three things I'd improve on: make one of the door shelves enclosed for butter, make the ice cubes bigger, and have the fridge doors automatically shut.

My new refrigerator from Samsung is the same cubic feet as my old side-by-side refrigerator, but because of the way it is configured, it is so much roomier! I love the french-door design which makes it so easy to access all the food. I wasn't sure if I would like the freezer on the bottom, but it is working out beautifully! I just can't say enough positive things about my new Samsung, french-door refrigerator! Oh, and by the way, we got a GREAT deal on the price!

A beautifully designed appliance . Bright interior led lighting with very easy to move and reposition glass shelves. the pantry cooling drawer and the tuck away shelf are added bonuses. The compressor is extremely quite and the unit reached set temperatures fast. This unit has a tremendous amount of space in the main compartment and the bottom freezer. We are very happy with this samsung product and would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this frig because I didn't want the in-door water dispenser. Didn't want the possible water mess on our hardwood floors. Since there is no in-door space lost due to the ice maker, the extra benefit is larger door shelves.

I love the design with the freezer on the bottom. I like the size of the frig and that you can only open half the door at a time. HOWEVER, under the 'cool select pantry' drawer, it leaks! Standing water accumulates and eventually spills out. Found where the water is coming from but don't know how to stop it. Have kept the drawer out and a towel in its place to sop up the water. Bummer

We have had our refrigerator 1 year now and I love the French Door Style. I would never go back to a top freezer refrigerator again. We have gotten used to the pop & hum noises that seem typical with it. It has ample space, but sometimes we have to get creative with arranging some items to fit if it is full. The door shelves have plenty of space for all the items we put in them.
One thing I'd point out, is that the "humidity" buttons on the drawers slide too easily and sometimes are too far open for the types of veggies or fruit in the drawers. I also think that because this refrigerator does not have water in the door, the replace filter light comes on too soon for the amount of ice we use. It was also too hard for me to get it out without using a pliers.
While we have a stand alone freezer for most things, I was pleasantly surprised at how much the hubby was able to transfer into this freezer when the other one malfunctioned recently. So there is plenty of space and I love not having to make ice the old fashioned way with trays any more.
I would highly recommend this refrigerator if you do not need water in the door like us. I only wish the finger prints did not show. But alas, I keep wiping it down because I'm a freak about that and am training the men in this family to only use the handle.

This product has LED lighting which for the senior age population is a real plus . Love the quick slide adjustable shelf for tall items. Product doesn't have ice or water in door so both doors have deep gallon sized shelves, an important feature for us. Ice maker in freezer section provides plently of ice. Overall noise of operation is very low.

This 25.5 cu.ft. French Door although beautiful is the most noisiest refrigerator my wife and I have even owned in our 45 years of marriage. It makes the loudest cracking noises and not just occasionally but a lot. Was told it would do this cracking but didn't realize they would be so often and loud enough to wake us up in our bed which is about 30 ft. down the hallway from the kitchen area. Also it makes a loud noise like a motor starting up and then will stop after just a few seconds. This happens off and on throughout the day and night. At first thought it was just starting to run but this is louder and never goes into a full run when doing this. Then last is there is a loud buzzing noise almost all the time when the refrigerator is not running, popping , cracking etc. Sort of like a motor whine you would hear off in the distance. We love the interior room it gave us inside the unit but just not sure we can continually stand it's noises.

The design of the French Doors is just ideal for our family. The bright illumination of the interiors caught our eyes, it is truly beautiful. The fridge held much more than our previous side by side. The freezer portion with the sliding shelve makes it easier to store items. It is very quiet & so far, although it has only been only 1 week, I would recommend this product.
