I wanted a quality french door fridge that did not have a dispenser on the door and was also fingerprint resistant. These features are hard to find but I am glad that I found what I wanted with Samsung. We purchased the refrigerator without seeing the actual model on the floor of the store but there were similar models that gave us an idea of what it would actually look like. Just as I was about to make the purchase online my wife wanted to check around some more. I had to convince her that this was the fridge we wanted. When it arrived and we saw it...I was so excited. I was like "yes this is a winner". It is just a great refrigerator. The platinum color is beautiful and there are definitely NO visible fingerprint residue left behind to torment me. Everything runs smoothly. The ice maker is fine. This model does not have an internal water dispenser either ( we did not want a water dispenser, period). It has lots of room and we are happy with it.

Just delivered my refrigerator yesterday. Other than a problem getting it through the door of my old house it fit perfectly and looks beautiful. I chose to go without the ice on the door to get a more sleek look and it is beautiful. I love the platinum color and the finish does not show the fingerprints. It is so very quiet. Almost all the food from my previous refrigerator fit on the doors and drawers. So much more convenient than a side by side.

This product is flawed from the factory

I thought I was getting a good refrigerator for a good price? The unit preforms well and was perfect for what we needed except for the constant popping and cracking noises coming from the refrigerator? These noises would continue daily 24/7 sometimes 3-4 times per hour. We called Samsung customer support only to have them tell us that there was not a fix for this problem and the refrigerator was operating normally. Well, I am 58 years old and have had many refrigerators but I have never had one that made consistent popping sounds that were loud enough so I could hear them in our back bedroom on the other side of the house. Stay away from this unit! When Samsung gets their stuff together so they can figure out how to fix this then they will have a good refrigerator...but not until then.
