the reviews with 1 star are right in line with my experience. ice maker has always been an issue, have to "fix" it once a month. at 4 year mark had an issue with one flex zone and a couple of days later spread to the other zone and finally the time zone and the whole thing was turned into a fancy pandora player. only buy this if you plan to keep a back-up on-site.

despite its great looks and functions, the refrigerator completly stopped working not even two years of using it. how is it that this expensive machine can just stopped working, not only that it took weeks before fixing it at my expense since warranty is only good for one year. imagine to have to live without a regrigerator for a month having a large family in my house. very dissapointed, this is the second time we own a samgsung refrigerator and both times thwy failed us. never buying samaung again and not recommending it to anyone to have to go through this headache. save your money and time and buy another brand.

we paid a high price for this fridge, the entire fridge. the ice maker is the absolute worst. we have had it repaired at least 6 times since we bought it 3 years ago. it has never been fixed. water continually leaks from the ice maker into my fridge, leaving puddles of water inside my fridge. the ice maker leak cause it to continually freeze up and stop making ice. we have learned how to repair it ourselves and have to de ice it once a week. which includes taking the entire ice maker out and scraping off the ice build up. and recently, it just stopped making ice all together, even though there is no build up. our warranty just ended and now if we wanted to repair it (which would obviously just be a temporary repair) we have to pay a diagnostic fee and labor. it's so ridiculous.

Spacious and great looking. Not finger proof at all so I wipe it down daily with a microfiber towel. Bixby is temperamental so need to be patient. Sound is nice so we play the radio a lot. I like the food list feature so I can set expiration dates. Seeing inside your fridge is nice especially when out shopping. The water tastes fantastic! Not sure if it will stay like this but I'm happy for now.

ice maker is constantly leaking water into the drip tray, ice is slushy and melting when it comes out of the dispenser. i have had the repair people out twice, he steams the ice maker to defrost it and says " see you in 6 months" . this is unacceptable. now my ice maker has so much ice build up inside it is frozen and cannot drop the ice cubes.

i would save your money and purchase a completely different brand. if you purchase this appliance, be prepared to have a money pit on your hands. when we purchased this refrigerator we were very excited about all of the features it offered, only to be let down. our motherboard for the tablet was completely fried from having a power outage in our area. we have called and had the ice maker "fixed" twice, just for it to completely frost up, freeze over the entire part that makes ice, and having no ice. this results in the monthly chore of having to spend at least 2 hours thawing out the ice maker so it will produce ice.

delivered w/dents. took a wk, but samsung gave 3 options: concession return or repair. i went w/repair as it was cosmetic. it took weeks & have been out twice.1st: new parts had dents & damaged another door during repair. they came back today & tried to pass off the same dented part as last week! now they have to come back (3rd time). they dropped the lcd screen while working on it and tried to force it back in. luckily, my husband pointed out the correct way. they treated it like "so what, its just a dent". also, the fridge is now on sale. repair is not your option - repair guys dont know what they are doing. go with return instead.

I've had this refrigerator a few weeks. I love it. I use the "wine" (flex) section for wine and other cold drinks. So I don't have to open the top section just to get a cold drink. If I need it during holidays for extra freezer space, I can switch it. The family hub is so much fun and useful!

Own this refrigerator for 10 months now and have had no issues at all. The build quality is solid, not to mention the integrated screen. I was concerned the screen would be "flimsy" and of poor quality that it wouldn't stand up to daily use. That concern quickly vanished though. My kids love being able to create back ground drawings. Connectivity to security devices such as Ring products is perfect. You don't have to search for your phone when someone is at the door, you can see it all on the screen. Being able to pull up recipes, watch videos, listen to music and so much more while in the kitchen is amazing. I highly recommend this fridge. Sleek, modern, efficient and well build.

I can't figure out many of them so ill be having someone come set it up for me. I do have to add that although I got the 28cuft size the inside comes very limited in space. Other than that this refrigerator is elegant, sturdy, efficient and all you need from a refrigerator and more. After adding the SmartThings hub at my home, now I can control scenes, switches and even light dimming options directly from my screen itself. Initially, I used the flex for additional refrigerator space.after the onset of COVID-19, I was contemplating adding an additional freezer. This refrigerator is awesome! It has pretty nice features. I like that you can change the temperature of one of the freezers to become a refrigerator for more refrigerator space. I love the family board. I like that you can play music and get new recipes right from your refrigerator. The only thing I don't like is that I can't turn the refrigerator down to make it colder when the refrigerator is packed my drinks in food don't seem to be as cold as I like.

Our Fridge

We have had the fridge for about two months. We like the features, especially the electronic pad on the front. The fridge is not as big inside as we would like it to be, but if you are going to buy this you will need to modify and figure out where you are going to put all of your food. We have another fridge that we use for overflow. If you don't have another fridge, you might find the spacing of this one too small. We have also had an issue with the door hinge which does not allow the door to close fully unless pushed. This has left the door open without our knowledge and then the fridge needs to reset. This may be an issue with just our fridge, but I would be aware that it can be something that happens after the fridge has been installed.

Good refrigerator options

I have had this refrigerator for a year now. I love everything about, except the ice maker. It is always frosting over which makes it stop making ice.
