Scum stuck inside non agitator plate thing

had samsung model wa45h7000aw/a2 for 3 yrs and took out the no agitator plate from washer flipped it over to the plastic plate underneath and could see scum under plastic! can't easily pull apart 2plates so bent back the metal around plates like a disposable tin pie pan edge. once opened we found caked on scum. not an easy clean, i wish samsung made this machine easier to clean scum out. we haven't even started taking drum out to clean it. hopefully when we put the non agitator plates back together it will spin correctly.

this machine came with the house i bought and is 2015. it does not clean my clothes and leaves stains. i usually have to presoak them in dish soap first. about a month ago, it stopped working properly and has left everything sopping wet. i have to squeeze everything out which is exhausting. my dad has come to balance the machine but it doesnt change anything. there is no place to rmrove dirt and debris either. i tried contacting samsung support via live chat and they keep me waiting for 16-21 min and then say theyre too busy. there doesnt seem to be a number to contact either. i had some quotes from repair places and they say it will cost $300 or more. i feel that this machine ahould have lasted as least until 2025

i would give this 0 stars if i could. we have had this washer for maybe 4 years. it never did clean well, but now the entire top is rusted out. chunks of what used to be my expensive washer fall into every load of laundry. every white or light piece of clothing i have has rust stains on it. i will never make the mistake of buying from samsung again, what a joke.

i currently have my 2nd samsung washer. the first flew apart in my laundry room. samsung gave me partial credit and i bought a replacement unit. then this one was in the recall and i had the repair done. now it keeps going off balance and stopping cycle banging into the sides violently. i am now searching for a new washer again. granted this has happened over the last few years, but a washer should last longer. i will not purchase another samsung appliance.

samsung says cosmetic issue and not covered.
bleach dispenser and lid area rusts and after sanding and painting twice the rust reappears.

leaves clothes soaking wet even on high spin making your dryer time triple & adds strain to dryer due to the heavy weight of the super wet clothes. too deep to reach to the bottom of the tub.

front foot broke but i placed a few shims to make it work. then, the hot water hose sprayed water everywhere in the middle of a run. not just a loose hose, stripped plastic connector.

I brought this washer because my old whirlpool broke. I like that's it's modern and no drum. I'm not happy that you can't wash a good amount of clothes w/o it going uneven. The washer doesn't get stains out w/o stain remover. I'm not impressed

We have to use the deep wash setting to even get the clothes wet. We have pets and wash their blankets and throws and i am pretty sure they never come completely clean. I have used samsung and been loyal but this is the worst product. I think it may even be why we get sick, nothing ever gets fully cleaned so germs just keep recycling and on to each piece of laundry.

I pusrchased this after research and thought this is great. Well after warranty was up started realizing my clothes were dirtier than when i put them in. Whites were off color. Then odor started. I did a self clean cylcle. Also used washing machine clean product it made it worse.I do have a video but have not idea how to use upload it

Purchased in June 2015. The water level was NEVER high enough. The temperature settings are off and today, the bearing clutch assembly went bad. Are you kidding me?! Love the electronics Never again with the appliances. I have a side by side Samsung refrigerator that is subpar again. 0 for 2 on quality appliances.

We purchased this washer less than a year ago and when washing a load of laundry, the washer sounded like it was exploding and was hitting all the walls in our laundry room. The washer is completely destroyed with dents on all sides and the top completely broke off. The laundry detergent dispenser also broke completely out. When speaking to a worker at Lowe's, they said this issue had happened in the past with Samsung washers (about 3 years ago) and when I called Samsung directly they said there was a recall on this specific washer. Why on earth would you keep selling a product that is clearly faulty? Now to no fault of our own, we have to wait over 10 days to receive a new washer when Samsung shouldn't even be selling this product in the first place. They clearly take no pride in customer satisfaction or else they would have fixed this problem 3 years ago. Now I have to be inconvenienced for Samsung's clear mistake.

I have had this washer for 2 years and I am extremely disappointed. It frequently leaves residue on the dark clothes no matter the cycle, type or amount of detergent used. But the biggest problem is the clothes come out severely wrinkled on every load. Never had this problem with previous washers. Maybe do to the limited amount of water that it uses? Will frequently have portions of clothes that didn't even get wet after the cycle was completed. Very disappointed. Would never purchase this machine again.

This washer works great and I've had no problems with it. The only thing that happens occasionally is when I put softener in the tray, when I push it in, it dispenses out immediately. It only happens every now and then so not a major issue.

This washer will only clean the laundry you put in it if you use the deep wash. Any other cycle and all of the load does not even get wet. And if you wash blankets or anything slightly heavy plan on another 30 minutes trying to physically get it balanced to finish and spin. Look for ours on eBay Craigslist or Let go soon.

I bought this about 6 years ago...I HATE IT!!!!!!!! Leaves animal hair and dirt in folds when spinning. Does not get clothes clean.. Not enough water to even cover clothes so things on top stay dirty. Water inlet valve leaks and cost $300 to replace

My husband purchased this set for me as a surprise to replace my over 20 years unmatched set. Well SURPRISE!!! The absolute worst washing machine I have ever used in my lilfe. My husband is a painting contractor and I wash his "whites" in hot water with bleach. All this machine does is move the dirt around and deposit it back on the clothes, in the creases! I can actually wash them under water, in the sink, and watch the dirt go down the drain. REALLY disappointed. The water level never even gets high enough to cover the clothes in the drum.
I cannot believe that this washer gets over 4 stars by anyone. Caveat emptor.

Bought this washer roughly 3 years ago at Home depot. Got the 3 year extended warranty and it has come into use 3 times and trying to get a 4th request in.
First time was from the assembly on the pump broke off and water flooded the laundry room. Lucky no wires fell into the water could have been a big problem.
The second call was because even the smallest of loads (3 or 4 towels) it would become unbalanced and when it would spin it would just sound like someone was beating down the back door for about 10 sec and then would throw a DC code. Called service line and approx a week later the service guy came out and said it was the tub springs had gone bad. 2 more weeks and finally fixed.
Then shortly after the washer only used hot water. Would put it on cold and it would pull just the hot water (even tried turning off hot water to washer but wouldn't run cycle due to no water). Called service they came out about a week later and said the electrical board was bad and he even put new valve manifold in. The problem went away but now it is not cycling through the wash cycle it will fill up and just sit and no movement. Then it throws a 3E code did research and it is the motor.
Now that the warranty is past it's affective date I will probably get no help from home depot let's hope samsung will warrant it since it has a 10 year direct drive warranty whatever that means.
To sum it up the service guy was really nice and told me what to go with next timen and it's relatively the same price and it comes with a agitator. So take my advice from dealing with the worst washer ever DO NOT BUY...

This washer was okay at first. It is marketed as a high-capacity washer, which is not true, given the fact that if you put more than a handful of clothes in it, it gets out of balance and then goes into a perpetual cycle of rinsing and spinning. It now does it with as little as one piece of clothing in it. Nothing spins without getting out of balance. It is very frustrating and we will never buy another washer without an agitator!

Han a three year old Samsung which fell under the recall parameters. The service(???) company Direct TV screwed up the call causing damage to my home office on the floor below the washer, causing several hundred dollars in damages. Samsung paid to have the damages corrected and gave us acheck to purchase a new washer. That's standing behind your product!

I've had my new washer for three months now, and I LOVE IT!! This product is so very user friendly. It has the working family in mind. You load it (and it can do very large loads) add your detergent and softner and go do your busy life. After it finishes, it sings a little tune to you, and you toss it in the matching dryer which is also a very good product!
I am very happy with my choice of this Samsung washer/dryer.

My wife bought this machine based on its looks alone. Not a good ideia...From the first time we used it ,it didnt do what was supposed to do. i really cant understand how can anything get cleaned without being agitated. This machine doesnt have a center agitator, the clothes just lay there hardly moving. Washing whites,you better off doing it by hand. This machine just plain sucks.Period.

I have had this washing machine for 3 years. When it gets to the spin cycle it gives a display of "dc". The machine is off balance. When I try and balance the clothes back out, it fills back up with water and gets off balance. I can't use the machine. Now, my water bill has increased tremendously, I have a ton of sopping wet clothes, and to me a new washing machine. I would never purchase another samsung washing machine.

I have had this washer for almost 3 years and purchased it based on great reviews from a famous consumer rating website that is not named. I normally do the laundry in my household and countless times my wife would complain that I put too much clothes in the basket as clothes weren't getting clean or her darks had white streaks/marks on them once the cycle was complete. With that being said, over the past month we have had a major issue with residue, a mold-like substance, getting on our clothes and in the basket during the wash and it has been a complete inconvenience to manage/clean up after.
I just took the time to clean out the dispensers and after reinstalling them, the first cycle came with those same mold "flakes" in the basket and on clothes. Introduce a quick web search and it turns out thousands of people have also referenced these problems on various websites. Just check. We have the WA45H7000AW/W2 model and did have a tech come out to fix the lid as part of the recall.
We are completely unsatisfied and unsure which direction to go...I do know I just spent a lot of money on this washer 3 years ago and due to some issue with the product will have to purchase a new washer, from a different company.
