we have had this washer for only a few years and i will now have to purchase a new machine. from the first day i was not happy with how the machine washed clothes - clothes came out very wrinkly - worse than how they went in. this i could accept, but the breaking point is that the machine is the most mold and mildew producing machine i have ever used ( and yes i have used other front loading washers before without any problem). i have tried multiple methods to clean the machine, remove clothes immedidately and have never seen anything like this. i have never had a problem like this before and cannot believe how this washer draws moisture, mold, and mildew. so disappointed. will not be purchasing samsung again.

front load washer stopped working at 18 months old (6 months after warranty expired). needed new mother board (the one at back of machine not the one at control panel). between cost and time to repair, we were without washing machine for 6 weeks and for $200 more we could have had a brand new machine. will not purchase another samsung product.

we have had nothing but problems with this machine. control panel went bad, rear bearing bad, main control board bad, and so on. won't spin at this point, and now repair companies can't even source parts to repair. will never buy another samsung product.

I bought this washer and the matching dryer a month ago. They are beautiful! The washer has so many settings, and I can customize those settings even further. It does a wonderful job on my laundry, and it is so quiet. I even love the little tune it plays when finished. I am thrilled with this washer/dryer combo and am so glad I chose these.

We bought this washer yesterday, and found out that we can't select the temperature of the rinse. Ridiculous! We want either a hot or warm wash and a cold rinse. It will not do that.

We did a lot of shopping and found this washer had everything we needed. When put into service everything was great. The steam wash really got white clothes WHITE! Thank you for designing and building great products!

I am pleased with the washers ability to get clothes clean and fresh! I am a mother of 4 teenage boys, and let me tell you a washer that gets me clean clothes is amazing! I love the color and the options that come along with it! Sanatizing bedding is bennificial for us due to allergies and my youngest son has a low immune system.
I have always purchased Samsung products, and that won't change anytime soon!

From day one, washer tangles up the clothes so bad that by the time I untangle them they are so wrinkled. Plus the major shaking on the spin cycle.
The matching dryer turns your blankets and sheets into a ball every time. I spend my time taking them out of dryer every few minutes, so they can dry.
Won't buy another Samsung appliance again!!!!

Purchased the washer in June and it immediately started giving us problems. The washer malfunctions during the spin cycle. It stops and restarts multiple times. A 25-minute cycle takes 2 hours because the spin cycle doesn't work right. By the end of the cycle, the clothes are still soaking wet. I can't even hang the clothes to dry because they leave puddles of water wherever I hang them.
Been in touch w/ 1-800-SAMSUNG, they keep making repair appointments, but automatically canceling them because there is "no defect." Been going around in circles for months now and still don't have a working appliance.
Please don't put yourself through this!

The washer has been working flawlessly for 3 weeks now. Very impressive results for the cost of this unit. Our clothes are whiter and cleaner than they have been in the past. Really like the fact that we can set our most common cycle and simply select it for washing. The single option allows the kids to wash their clothes easily without the need to select a bunch of options.
Also, seems to be minimal noise with this product.
Highly recommended!

This washer is very good. Load size is big and the clothes get super clean. So many setting are available so you can customize your wash. When the washes are done there is a ear-pleasing tone to let you know that laundry is done.

I purchased the Samsung 4.2 cu. ft. High Efficiency Stackable Electric Front-Load Washer Item #565989 Model # WF42H5200AF/A2 on 5/20/2017 through Lowe's. They delivered it on Memorial Day 5/31/2017. I've been using it for almost 3 mos. and I absolutely LOVE it! I purchased the MERLOT (Cranberry Red) Color. It is absolutely Beautiful! I also purchased the matching Dryer and absolutely love it! I no longer dread doing laundry! Laundry does not take long to do now!

The Samsung frontload washer is amazing. It is easy to use, my clothes are clean, the number of features and options suit any need, and it is pretty! I know some people who own front load washers and they complain that they take too long or they leave a smell or have issues with water. This washer has none of those issues and has been great from the start!

I Have only been the proud owner of this matched set for about 2 weeks. I have never had a NEW
washer and dryer in my life. I did lots of research ( as much as I could) and finally " bit the bullet" and went to my local store only 55 miles away and looked and looked and ordered them. The young men who delivered and set up my stacking set was very personable and answered all of my silly questions. My clothes never have looked better and I am so happy with my decision. The red color just adds a lot of personality to my otherwise bland utility room. I'll let you know if I change my mind!!

My motor went out on our samsung 4.2 front load washer after 3 1/2 years. Thank Goodness we purchased the 5 year warranty from Lowes. The warranty from Samsung doesn't cover the motor even though it says it has a 10 year warranty on drive motor.
So Lowes came through and we received our new washer today. Which we have again purchased the 5 year extended warranty. I hope it lasts longer this time.
Also I do really like this machine, but with a bad back it is sometimes a pain to load and unload.

This one replaced an older Samsung front load with a broken spider gear. This new one has many more features I really enjoy, and even cost less! Love the ability to steam sanitize and also spin without rinse for those wet pool towels. Haven't used the smart features yet.

I have had this washer 6 months. I have called for service twice and will have to a third time. The washer is constantly leaking water. It has ruined my laundry room floor. The companion dryer is noisy and wades the wash into tight balls. It takes a long time and constant attention to dry a load of washing. I have never had this problem with other manufacturers. I would never buy another item from Samsung.

The first model I purchased leaked water from somewhere near the front of the machine. It was within 30 days of purchase so Lowe's sent me another one. This is now my 2nd machine that I just received today. Hoping for better luck.

Between the three washer and dryer sets I looked at the dryer to this set allowed to to reach in and remove things that had gotten into the trap as some of the things my daughter and husband put in their pockets occasionally get by me. Which as you may know will keep it from fitting back down all the way and things with straps will get caught, twist and then rip or tear. This is the reason I chose this set.

Having had an older Whirlpool Duet, I was hesitant to buy another front loader because the old washer had been a problem from the minute we bought it. I have had my Samsung for about 4 months and I am in love with it. The only thing I miss is the Whites cycle, although the steam cycle is similar.

We replaced our old and broken washer with this unit. We are very happy with it. it is a lot quieter than our previous one and is very easy to use. it cleans the clothes and gives a lot of options. The self clean and drain at the bottom is also an added feature that other machines do not. Overall very happy with our choice so far.
